favorite FF!

Well I am a huge Final Fantasy fan and so I thought maybe there are other fans (Not as HUGE as me of course) here. So if anyone wants to post your favorite Final Fantasy game or any Square game that you like go ahead so that we may discuss the game!

Well I like them all, I have yet to play a bad final fantasy game! Though my absolute favorite out of all the games has to be Final Fantasy IX. I love the humor in the gameplay, the graphics are amazing, and I love the gameplay! The game seemed to have a very western/victorian feel to it, which intensified the serious parts. And it also had a very diverse cast of characters from the monkey bay Zidane to the pure PWNAGE Kuja, who destroyed an entire planet because he was upset......Yeah he is that PWNAGE!

Effin finally! Someone who speak sense! FF9 is in fact the best FF there is! I love the character who are so full or personailty. I'm happy that Zidane isn't as emo or anti-social as Cloud or Squall. The battle and skill system are neat and the mini-games are addicting. Also, Vivi and Kuja just rock. My other favorite FFs are Final Fantasy Tactics [original] and 6. I like FFT's job system, for being the customizable and fickle person that I am, as well as it's war and religion theme. Other than the horrible translations, it had won the test of time. 6 had also another interesting cast; as well as having my favorite FF female, Celes.

seven was good but I think that hardened FF players will see that there are other final fantasy games that are much better! An example of this owuld be FFIX, FFX, and FFXII

Out of the ones I have played, I like IX the best, though X was good too. I didn't get that far into it though, and I don't have it on my PSP, unlike IX. I have yet to play VII but may sometime.

Personally, I was dissapointed with XI and XII. Only having four races in XI was a letdown, two of which were gender specific. I was hoping for more diversity. And XII had seven freaking races in it, but you only have one non-human in your party, and thats Fran. Really pissed me off. I was looking forward to play as a moogle, or at least a Nu Mou or a Bangaa. To be honest, I loved Ivalices races and it was disappointing to see your party so dominated by humans.

Also, I hated XII's battle system. Too many times I found myself just standing there waiting to attack. It didnt have that action-ey feel to it. It was very boring and uninteresting. If I had a moogle in my party I might have overlooked that huge flaw, but noooo...

With final fantasy XIV being a sequil to XI, its again dissapointing to see that its still gonna be the same universe and the same races. Im really pumped for XIII though. It looks so epic, and on the 360! I don't know where people are getting the idea that the PS3 version is somehow gonna be better. They both produce HD graphics. Its gonna look amazing on either system.

Well Mini, you have to consider the story for FFXII, it would have been hard to have a moogle team-member as it would have been useless......don't get me wrong I love moogles! You know, the story didn't really call for any other race to be a part of it! But yes not having to play as all of the races was a little disappointing, but I think FFXII is a fantastic game! Because of the level of customization the player gets! I always wanted an entire team of monks! And I got that with FFXII, don't ask me how I did it, but it was so cool have 6 monk type characters, that each had certain abilities he/she excelled at!

And FFXI came out with more classes I think, in 2006-2008, don't remember! But it thought it was alright, I quit after a month of playing it.

But I am looking forward to every FF game! I don't care if the last MMO was not that good, I will never doubt Square's ability, ever! Simply because they are amazing at what they do!

But yes IX was not the best but it was my favorite! Zidane, Garnet, Stiener, Kuja, Vivi, Amarant, Freya, Quina, Eiko! All amazing characters!

FFXIII will be really good, I have seen the demo and it didn't disappoint me!

I've only played the Crystal Chronicles series, so I can't really comment too much on any of the ones yall mentioned, but I did like Echoes of Time and Ring of Fates.
