The game this time around will be some trivia for all you Digimon fans out there! Its gonna be open answer, so you can post the answer here.. But with your answer, I want details. If you provide the proper details and information to go with your answer, you will be the winner!

I believe this would be Episode 45 of Season One - The Ultimate Clash.

Tricked by Cherrymon into believing Tai is his enemy, Matt and MetalGarurumon fight Tai and Wargreymon. The battle rages on until Kari is possessed by a strange entity who reveals the truth of why the children were chosen to save the digi-world.

I am going with season 1 ep 29 Return to Highton View Terrace

The digidistend return to earth in search of the eighth child coming out at the camp where their adventures began. Once they get there they quickly go to heighten view terrace where they are soon in a big fight. The fight is fierce between Garudamon and Mamonthmon both who end up causing a lot of damage. It is during this battle that the Digidistend remember a battle many years before their adventure started between a greymon and a Parrotmon. Realizing that they were all there the seven children soon come to the realization that the 8th child must have been there as well. With this news they all begin the search for the 8th child whoever it maybe.

Hey everyone! Well...this was alittle disappointing. But I guess it happens to most sites, especially during this time of the year. Things get slow...as do members joining in events. But as for the people that did attempt this challenge, I am sad to say that neither of you had the right answer. While you both are correct in the season, the episode is pretty far back.

Though both of these were heated battles, they weren't against two FIRE digimon. That was another one of the key words in the question, along with heated.

The answer was Episode 4: Biyomon Gets Firepower-Season 1

As the group re-enter the forest, they see a black gear flying above. They soon reach a desert with standing utility poles, and Mimi's compass becomes ineffective due to the presence of metal in the sand. They discover a village of Yokomon in the middle of the desert, and Sora's partner Biyomon is questioned as to how it was able to Digivolve from Yokomon. They are taken to a nearby water spring but discover that the spring and its source aquifer have dried up and are ablaze with fire. Meramon, a fire Digimon enraged by the black gear that entered its body, descends from Miharashi Mountain at the edge of the desert and heads toward the village. As the group evacuate the Yokomon residents, Biyomon challenges Meramon but is no match for its power. Biyomon soon Digivolves into Birdramon and attacks Meramon from the air, releasing the black gear from inside its body. As a sign of gratitude for saving their village, the Yokomon invite the group for dinner, but the children discover they cannot eat the food.

So this time...there is no winner...But I will give you both 100 bits for trying
