Yoshiyuki Gardner
Name: Yoshiyuki Gardner
Nickname: Yoshi or Yuki
Age: 15
Gender: male
Ethnicity: Japanese-American
Height: 5' 6''
Weight: 135lbs
Alignment: currently neutral
Birth Date: December 12
Birth Place: New York
Relatives:
Personality: Where to begin with this one? Yoshi, to others can seem pretty hyper, but he himself just sees it as enjoying his day. He's always seen with a smile on his face at any given moment. He is rarely ever genuinely sad. He tries to look at the best things in the moment and the best qualities in people. Just like his digimon however, if you can't get used to his personality, he can seem pretty annoying.
When it comes to other people, Yoshi can be a very caring and kind person, toning down his happy-go-luckiness for a while to help them out with their problems or whatever maybe bothering them. This only occurs however when he really gets to know you. Until he sees you as a friend, you may as well not be there at all.
His child-like behavior also brings about a natural naivety that causes him to be easily persuaded. If someone tries to pull the wool over his eyes, he will be effectively blinded. This often results in Bearmon having to snap him out of it and get his mind back on track.
Appearance: If asked his favorite color, Yuki will answer immediately(and loudly) with green. He can frequently be seen in a large Green and white jacket with a small green dragon on the chest. Even his hair has been died green, much to the chagrin of his parents. His eyes however are a light brown color, almost appearing yellow when you look at them. His spiky green hair is usually tucked under a baseball hat. Although the hats vary in color, he usually uses a black one with an intricate design on the front
He doesn't have any visible muscle, though he's far from fat, being quite lean actually.
History: Torio's parents met when his father was invited to a local art gallery showing the works of a relatively new artist. He was amazed by the talents of the artist and had to meet them in person, so after the showing he sought out the artist, learning from the person who told him that her name was Sango. They chatted for a while, stopped by a cafe for a bit, and the relationship progressed from there. After Suki was born, the two decided to get married, and Yoshi came soon after. Now together as a family, Sango continued to sell art, though not as often as she had two children to care for.
In early childhood, Yoshi was a rather curious child. He was always crawling or walking around, happily exploring his surroundings. He rarely did anything wrong, though like every kid he did get in trouble every now and then.
Throughout elementary school, Yoshiyuki was a little shy and nervous about starting his school years away from his parents, and didn't talk much to the other kids. However, one day, one of the other kids decided to try talking to him. Even though he ignored them for the most part, the child was persistent and eventually got Yoshi to talk and interact with others. The boy and Yoshi quickly became fast friends, spending all their time together. They even continued to hang out as they entered middle school. The boy would always find a way to cheer up Yoshi if he was feeling down, and it always seemed like he was happy all the time. As the two began to hang out more, these traits slowly began to rub off on Yoshi.
However, this friendship was unfortunately not meant to last.
A few months before Yoshiyuki was to start High School, his father got a job transfer: the family was to be moved to Japan. This deeply upset Yoshi, as he would be leaving his friends, his home and the place he grew up. However, it had already been decided. And so the family packed up their things and moved away. Yoshi never forgot his friend, even adapting more of his personality into his own; A sort of way for him to cope with the move away from his home and friends.
After a few months spent learning the ins and outs of the language, Yoshi was entered into the school system. Currently, his grades have slipped slightly as he is not used to the more strict teaching style of the school his parents had sent him to but he is working to bring them back up.
His love for the digimon card game also started in high school.
In his attempts to find things to do while exploring the city, he stumbled upon a small shop that peaked his interest. The shop sold digimon merchandise and after buying a pack or two, Yoshi decided he found himself a new hobby.

Digimon: Bearmon
Gender: Male
Personality: If his personality could be summed up in one word, it would be feisty. Bearmon isn't afraid to speak his mind; even if everyone else would rather he just shut up. His attitude often gets him into unnecessary fights with friend and foe alike. This doesn't bother him much, as he's always looking for a way to get stronger, but his tamer would rather he calm down a little. When he's not looking for a fight and calms down a little, Bearmon can be pretty fun to be around, if you can stand his sarcastic attitude
