APPEARANCE: As a pair of four year olds, Mako and Ai are both pretty much what you'd expect a pair of toddlers to look like. Though they stand close to the same height, Ai is a couple inches taller than her brother with her standing at three feet and one inch and her brother at two feet and eleven inches. They both weigh around thirty two pounds, and both have the slight plumpness most young children have.
Their skin is light colored, though Ai's is a bit more peachy colored than her brother's which appears more yellowish. They both have dark brown eyes and reddish brown hair. Mako's hair is medium-short length and just hangs loosely from his head. Ai's hair on the other hand is shoulder length and most frequently tied back in short pigtails with hair ribbons.
Being as young as they are, they don't have much capacity for personal style and what choice they have for clothing is limited to what their parents pick out for them. Ai usually wears some sort of dress that falls down to her knees over top of a t-shirt, along with thick socks and running shoes with a large tongue flap on them. Mako can usually be seen wearing a pair of overalls over a long sleeved shirt. Ai has a light pink coat she wears outside while Mako has a thick orange one.
