It's been a few years since peace has returned to the worlds. The scars of great battles have settled, the digimon population is booming once more, and Tamers have been able to live life without fear hanging over them. Even those tamers who have been called "leader" have settled, willing to pass down the title to ambitious newcomers. With Demon lords and evil overseers vanquished, the worlds couldn't be doing better.
But in the shadows beyond the sight of all, a new threat stirs, with desires to do far more than the darkness before. Their grand target is not merely to rule, to enslave or even to end all life.
