Swift and Sneaky (Open)

[Dracomon]

Dracomon was running through the city streets, she was running past them, without them knowing though that their possessions were hers now. Every digimon she had ran passed would soon be noticing a empty wallet instead, she was stealing from them, not that she really cared much of money she just kept it in her home used it whenever she needed to. She didn't buy much with it, nor did she really care about her hoard of money. It was the stealing that made her day so exciting.

She was home now placing the items she had stolen into the secret cave she had dug behind the wallpaper. She closed up the hole as usual placing dirt back into the ground and covering the usual dig spot with a carpet. She lived in a pretty decent sized Digihome, but it wasn't that fun doing little petty thefts, she needed some kind of actual employer or something, maybe go on an adventure or something... She knew of the BlackOmnimon's army and such, would he be willing to allow a thief into his army? OF course she would be doing it for her own fun, but still he would get an additional member to his army. She walked out of her home casually and began walking along the streets like the everyday citizen.

"You know...It isn't noble to steal from others..."

The voice was stern, yet it held a gentle quality along with it as well. The large creature placed its hand ontop of the dragon's shoulder, his light brown mane blowing in the gentle breeze as he stood behind the rookie, hopefully stopping her from going any further. After all, it was hard enough to follow her from the other side of the street, let alone within the crowded sidewalks of the city if she attempted to flee.



"I can see that you are not bad, only misguided. You're still young, so I will allow you the chance to return what you have taken to the people you have stolen from...or at least give them to the proper authority within Server City.."

"You know... being noble never seemed all too fun to me..."

She said this somewhat mocking what Leomon had told her about how stealing wasn't noble. She had no desire to be noble, at least that's what she told herself, she felt fine with being a thief. She didn't care too much about her personal possessions, maybe it would be nice to just give those things back, she didn't need all that money. Still listening to him and giving back the things wasn't part of her idea of a enjoyable deed, the digimon she would be returning the things to wouldn't be all to happy, they would most likely attack her for stealing the thing in the first place. She could escape, he didn't have a tight grip on her shoulder, if she quickly moved out of his grasp and dashed through the streets she would be fine.

She hadn't been caught till today so she was able to live a normal civilian life, now though she could continue living in the city as a fugitive. She always wanted to live as a fugitive, she had been living sort of like one in the forest, although it didn't really have these laws like in the city. Running from noble digimon, that was a fun and exciting way to spend sometime. "Your free to search my home and return the things, but I'm sorry to say that I'll be continuing the life of a crook" With that she quickly jumped back out of his grasp, turning right after and dashing through the crowd. As she ran she quickly stole a cloak from the display of a nearby store. She placed it over herself and ran before the clerk could even notice it's disappearance.

The Leomon growled as he took chase, doing his best to keep his eyes on the movements of the small dragon. He would say one thing for the theif, she was indeed good at evading. But he wasn't about to let her go about this little game of hers. He was sure that this was a digimon that had pretty much decided to bad, without even considering the results of her actions...This was his assumption, he could be completely wrong about the Dracomon.

At the moment though, he had to still catch her once more. Leaping up ontop of a building, the lion looked down into the crowd, sighing as he thought he had lost her. But then, he spotted the dragon fast enough to see her steal a cloak. Alas, this child was indeed over her head with greed.

"They never learn..."

Leomon then continued to follow her from the rooftops. Moving at a good enough pace to keep up with the swift digimon below.

Dracomon was running when she looked up to see the Leomon, she tossed the cloak into the air and fired out a blast of fire causing it to burst into flames, it looked somewhat like a little lightshow. Hopefully the Leomon would've been blinded by it when she did that. She continued running, taking a turn into a alleyway, it was a dead end, but that didn't mean she was done. She found a large bundle of garbage and hid herself within it, although her tail was popping out, sticking out like a sore thumb, she quickly pulled it in though after noticing it wasn't in hiding like the rest of her body. She stayed quiet no making a noise. She wasn't in any way greedy, she didn't care about the actual possessions, she was just a bit selfish, stealing was funny, because it was like playing a prank on someone. You take their stuff, they cry and you get to both laugh and keep their things. It was like a joke except you get something in the end besides a couple laughs.

Leomon watched this and gasped as he saw the cloak burst into flames above the crowd. But he wasn't alone, many other digimon looked up in awe as they wondered what was happening. Yet, while this had caused him to lose sight of the Dracomon, he hadn't lost her scent.

Jumping back to the ground, he followed his nose to an alley frowning as he now couldn't tell whether her trail ended here, or if she had only done so just to lose him. In any case, it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

"Look! I don't know what kind of thrill this gives you...But it ends here! You might as well come out and turn yourself in..."

[jaxamar]

There was a loud thud as a blue Coredramon landed beside the Leomon.
"I was watching the chase," he explained to Leomon, "My name is Jax."
He then turned to the pile of garbage that was hiding Dracomon.
"Come out," he said, his tone slightly peeved, "Or do I have to go in there and drag you out?"

The necklace around his neck glinted in the sunlight as he leaned forward, a low rumbling emitting from his throat.

Dracomon was a bit bothered by these digimon following her, why did they ask her to turn herself in? Did they really think she wanted the punishment coming her way? She popped out throwing the trash around herself in all directions as she jumped out. She flew up and into a nearby window it was a small window she herself had difficulty squeezing through it, most likely the other digimon wouldn't be able to get through it, they would have to go through the front door or break the wall. They most likely wouldn't think of breaking a random civilian digimon's home.

She quickly looked through the home for something to cover her scent with. "Aha, this'll do!" She quickly grabbed the can of lemon scented air freshener spraying it all over her body to get the scent of garbage out. She would take a shower later after she had lost the two. She took the can to avoid them examining the room and finding the can and giving them a hint to the fact that she smelled like lemons. She flew out through a unoccupied window on the other side flying toward a fruit stand. She entered the shop, standing near the lemons and citrus like fruits in particular. Had she lost them?

"Darn," Jax said, poking his nose into the window, then withdrawing it, "I don't think I can find her easy."

While Leomon welcomed the extra help, he was still troubled by the fact that this digimon was getting more and more desprate to escape. In fact, this lastest action had indeed stumped him. For there was no way he would go so far as to break into another digimon's home. But prehaps, they would be a way to get back on her trail.

"Perhaps we should simply wait...It is only a matter of time before she will have no choice but to leave this place. It is then that we may strike. While I hate to have to attack, she is giving me less and less options in the matter..."
