Waiting on a friend

Chaos sighed and took another bite of his pizza thinking on the matter that Margras and Commandramon had been talking about. “You know I bet those tamers were the same ones we were looking for a while ago.” he said . He sighed and smiled. “Well sometimes all you need is a break from the thinking so let’s have fun today and see what it brings us.” Chaos said. He was looking forward to the arcade and games.

Goblimon nodded his head. "He's right we could use a break from thinking." he said. "Well your an expert in that feild Goblimon." Chaos said. "Hey!" the green digimon shouted.

Margras shrugged. "If you say so," he said, finishing his share of the pizza, just as Commandramon did the same, "You want to go to that arcade now?"

"I think Goblimon and I should follow," Commandramon said, "At a distance, but ready to help you should any wild Digimon show up."

Chaos and Goblimon finished thier slices and nodded. "Okay then" Chaos said as he and Margras made their way to the new arcade with their digimon close behind.

"So what's it like working for Ominimon?" Goblimon asked as they fallowed their tamers. "I used to work for an overloard so we didn't have the best living condtions." he said glad he was with Chaos now and not in the digital world anymore.

"You're probably not the best equipped to understand what it was like. I'd known nothing else but the military; even before the D-reaper emerged to wreak havoc, my unit had organised itself for mutual survival. When the Light of Digivolution touched us, many of us transformed into our Mega form, Darkdramon. I however... I could not. Over the past two years, I have joined other Digimon that were either unable to Digivolve to Mega, or were outside the reach of the Light. When Omnimon and BlackOmnimon appeared, we split into two groups. I went with my fellows to Omnimon's side, but a great many joined BlackOmnimon.

Margras pushed the door of the arcade open, and blinked in surprise.
"This is unreal," he mumbled, astounded.

"Oh wow, yeah I guess your right I wouldn't understand that. But I do know what it's like to not be able to digivolve. Any time one of us would digivolve they's be ablre to go off on their own as as Ogremon and live how they wanted. So we normaly were kept from the light so that there would be more henchmen." Goblimon said and then sighed. "But that life is behind me." he said as the fallowed the human.

Chaos looked around at all the games they could play. "Alright." he said happily. "Well then let's go have some fun." he said and then headed off with Margras to play two-player games.

Commandramon nodded, taking up a position behind the sign of the arcade, where he could watch the street and not be seen.
"So how did you get away from your overlord?" he asked Goblimon, genuinely curious.

Margras followed Chaos, wondering what he would choose first.
"Hey!" he said, suddenly spotting something," There's a shooter game over there. Fighter craft. I last saw that when I was back in Australia."

Goblimon sighed "I got realy sick of the place and hid under a the grounf in a small hole and waited tll the gaurds left anf then made a break for it. I was doing okay on my own for a while and then a saw this wired little device on the ground. I pick it uand then just totaly blackout, the next thing I know I'm in a box being thrown around and then finaly the box ends up on Chaos's desk and he opens it up and take the devivice that turns out was a digivice. We become friends and the next night we're on a stroll theough the park and you know what happends from there." he said.

Chaos saw the game his friend was speaking of and nodded "Okay then let's go over there blow stuff away" he said taking the first control and waiting for Margras to take the other.

Margras jumped to the game, grabbing the other control.

Commandramon nodded thoughtfully, rubbing at his chin pensively.

The boys both spent hours having fun and plying with and against each other while the two Digimon talked and got to know each other better. It seemed as if they were all geting along quite well. As Chaos began to run out of couns he sighed. "Well now then there's still time left to kill you want to do somthing else?"

Margras checked his watch. "No, i'm afraid not," he said, slightly startled at how much time had passed, "I have to go or Mom will freak."

Commandramon heard this, and shrugged. "Guess I'd better be getting back to base now, Goblimon."
