"Or...we could try not letting crazed girls follow us everywhere. Thus, avoiding destruction of public housing...."

As Veemon said this, he flung some ashes upon Brittany's clothes, helping her look the part of being just barely rescued. Of course, it would matter very little if her mother didn't believe her. In fact, it might end up with them having to call the police to actually make this more real.

"Lets just get out of here and hope that maybe my mom buys this...if not. Then, I'll probably be admitted into a mental building for being a pyro manic..."

Chaos placed Brittany's arm over his sholder to make it look like he was helping her. "Hey your not the only person to have their room get mess up because of this so there is no way anyone can blame you seeing as how the plast came from the roof." He said. He "helped" Brittany out of the aprtments as the police and firefighters were already begining to apper.

Goblimon fallowed his friends out the window and looked at them. "Okay we need to wait at the Shrine for one of our tamres to come and get us." he said and then left with them to the temple that they were using as a base.

Margras was already covered in dirt thrown up by the fight, so he looked a bit like he had arrived first, or had had part of the ceiling collapse on him... which was close to the truth.

Following the two other Tamers, he was surprised to see black government vans pulling up along with the emergency vehicles.
"Is it just me?" he asked, "Or do those remind you of when the red blob attacked?"

Brittany was quick to shush Margras, just before covering it with a loud cough. Seeing the black vans, as well as the regular police and EMTs, the girl began to realize that it was obvious that someone had called them before any of them.

Maybe its not too late to call it a prank gone wrong...

Frankly, the girl would rather deal with a month long grounding, than possible arrest. But, she wouldn't get a chance, since two Emergency van personal grabbed her from Chaos arms and lead her to the van. During this, two police officers approached the two boys and asked about what exactly had happened.

"I'm not sure," was Margras' reply to the questions, "I was talking to Brittany and Chaos here in a three-way phone call, and I heard a bang; I think it might have been a cherry bomb. Whatever it was blew out the ceiling; when I got here, a bit of it collapsed on me," here he gestured to the dust all over his outfit, "I could have sworn I heard some gunfire, too. See! There! The window's got bullet holes in it."

Chaos shook his head. "That dosn't matter right now all that matters is that people think we had nothing to do with that expoltion so just remeber that we rushed in to help her okay?" Chaos said watching as it appered the car in question moved along anyways. "Are you okay?" Chaos asked Brittany just so it looked better to everyone that they went in and saved her. He still paritly blamed himself for all this.

Soon Brittany was taken by medics to be looked at. "He told the same story as Magras did and said that he went to make sure Brittany was okay before seeing that there had been and explosion. "And then I ran to her appartment and had to kick open her bedroom door. I found her and helped her out of the building." Chaos said.

They officers appeared to have bought it, through they did explain that the two boys might be questioned once again upon the events. As they soon went over to Brittany to ask her about the situation involving her rescue, the girl was able to give them a somewhat detailed account. Yet, the teen was sure to play the part of dazed victim as she exclaimed that she could barely remember anything of what happened after the loud bang.

"The last thing I remember was Chaos and Margras carrying me out of my room. Everything before that is a blurr..."

Pretty soon, the police returned to both Chaos and Margras, instructing them that they could leave if they wanted. It seemed that they had contacted Brittany's mother and she was on her way as they spoke.

Margras noted that they hadn't been questioned by any of the men from the black vans, despite the fact that they were being watched closely by them. Margras moved slightly, and his cloak shifted; for a moment, his Digivice was revealed, and one of the men seemed to notice. He nudged one of his colleagues, and whispered something to him.
Margras tapped Chaos on the shoulder. "Those guys from... Hypnos, I think it was... They haven't questioned us yet."

Chaos shook his head. "I don't think they will." he said "Last time I check they were working with the tamers to stop that red blob from eating everything." Chaos said which in turn reminded him they still needed to find those tamers and talk to them. They needed to Keep Calumon from the evil Digimon that were showing up. "Well let's go now Brittany said she didn't want us around when her mom got here." he said and then smiled to his hopfully still lover and approched her "I'll let Veemon crash at my house for the night" he whispered. Then walked off with Magaras

Margras nodded, noticing that the men from Hypnos seemed to be talking into their radios.

"I think the other Tamers are going to be aware of our existence pretty soon," he said, "Especially if they're still in contact with Hypnos."
For a moment, Margras was silent, but then he laughed quietly to himself. "I almost wish I'd had time to give that Shana that useless Dark Network card."
