The lunchroom was literally packed. It was filled with various teenagers eating their lunch, or finishing their homework or just talking their friends during their lunch period. They had been going among their lives as if they normally should, without any of the slightest idea of the things to come. There wasn’t really much happening, but a crowd was slowly building up at a nearby lunch table around two boys who didn’t look as much as a day older. Both of which were sporting goggles, and they were battling it out with the newest trend, digimon cards. “I- I guess it’s my turn now, right?” Jeremy had noticed the crowd building up, and he couldn’t help but crack under the pressure. He had started a Digimon card battle with one of his classmates, named Takato, to see who was the better player out of the two of them. Most of them had their bets on Takato, seeing as how Jeremy was the new kid in the class, but that didn’t bring him down it just made him want to win more. He frantically searched through his deck, looking for the right digi-card to use, but he didn’t have much luck. “I guess I should use…Wha-Wait…What’s this card. I’ve never seen this before.” He was seconds away from choosing a different card, until a blue card he had never seen before appeared before him. He wasn’t sure where this card was from, but he had a feeling it would help him in the long run, as he quickly grabbed his device and gave the blue card a good look. He gave Takato a quick look and he couldn’t help but smirk, which was unlike him. “Hold on, give me a second…” The card stood out, out of all of Jeremy’s cards but what stopped him from using it was the fact that he didn’t know what it could do. It could help him win the battle as well as helping him lose it for all he knew, but he knew that it was a risk he needed to take. Whilst his hand was rising, he was disrupted by the sound of the bell. It was time for their next class but Jeremy wasn’t going to go anywhere until he finished this match. The crowd that had been into the match had quickly dispatched, and no one had stayed to finish watching their match. As the crowd cleared, Shakily, Jeremy lifted the card and prepared to swipe it through the device. It was all or nothing, but he had a strange feeling about this. After much thought, he had finally decided to go with his gut. “Here goes…Digi-Modify!”

[Enter]
Takato looked over a the boy across the table, seemingly uninterested in the entire little card game they were playing. It had brought him such joy only two years earlier, but without Guilmon and the rest of the gang it was just that, a simple card game. A sigh escaped his lips, a disinterested look in his eyes was cast upon the kid across from him. What was his name again? Jeremy? Or something? It didn't matter much, even though he should know his own classmates. There was no point in making too many friends these days, you just go through a few rough times together, make it out alright and then split up once more to go about your very lives.
Reaching for his sandwich, he thought of an easy strategy to defeat Jeremy, considering he wasn't nearly as good as himself. Unsure of his own plans and moves, he could just smell anxiety in the air, all of it coming from his opponent. He took a couple bites of his sandwich out his lunchbox, his mouth stuffed with in a very vulgar manner, his cheeks swelling with the food as he chewed. It turned out he was still very much a kid in certain ways, he just happened to be taller and a little bit less naive as he had once been.
"Digi-modify." The words just slipped out of his mouth so naturally, so many memories coming back into his mind of the past, most of them being of Guilmon and all the battles they had been in together. "Metal Attack Activate." The way he said it had just been lacking in any enthusiasm, a very plain tone coming from a seemingly bored teen. The card slid across his device, ending his turn.
Takato had played metal attack in conjunction with the Agumon he had thrown down, a simple full on attack strategy. If you could power up a rookie quickly, there would be no chance to digivolve into champion, the battle would be over too quickly.
"Yep. It's your turn, Jeremy." Takato said, taking another bite of his sandwich as the boy chose his next move carefully. His brown eyes caught the glance of a certain card, not really noticing it at first until Jeremy went to actually go play it. By this point, Jeremy had taken his sweet time, the kids were actually leaving the cafeteria by then.
"Is...that...it couldn't be...a blue card...?" Takato said in a low tone of voice as Jeremy swiped it across the device that was used for a simple card game. But Takato knew better, he knew what would happen if swiped such a card... The appearance of blue cards again...what did that mean? A piece of his sandwich fell out of his mouth, a piece of the PB&J sandwich smashing against the floor as he got suddenly got up out of his chair.

He pretended to swipe the card, as he placed the card in front of the machine to scan it, but something strange had begun to happen. The device began to show symbols within it and light engulfed Jeremy’s hand which was hold the Digimon card battle device. It slowly began to take shape and it became a type of device Jeremy had never seen before. It looked like one of those Digivice from the Digimon cartoons, but it didn’t exactly look like the ones on TV which kind of shocked him. He grasped the device, but feared it would do something bizarre at the same time. “What the hell is this!?” His hands grasped the new device tightly. He paid no attention to the cards that Takato had played because he was completely focused on the Digivice in his own bare hands. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he thought it was something significant and looked up at Takato as he slowly got up out of his chair. “Ta..Taka…Takato!” Not knowing what to do, Jeremy looked at his classmate, as if asking him for help.

The young teen's eyes lit up in excitement and amazement as if he had never seen a blue card and a digivice come into existence, which was far from the truth. If digivices and the mysterious blue cards were once again appearing in the Real World, what was going on in the digital world then? Were things in shambles? Did chaos rule the land as it did two years prior? And what of his partner, Guilmon? His heart skipped a beat at the very thought of his best friend being able to join his side once more, a very good feeling to say the least. The device that was used in the card game was no more, but a purple digivice replaced it, an amazed look spread across his face.
"WHAT JEREMY!? WHAT!?" Takato had shouted out loud at the boy, not realizing how hostile and loud he had sounded until much afterwords. It was strange for him, to be so anxious, to be so on edge, yet he couldn't help it at all. Sure, life would never changed for him if he hadn't met up with Guilmon and everything would be quite normal for him as it was now, but he longed for his friend the adventures that he shared with the others as well. He was going to answer Jeremy the fight time with something smooth, easy and confident, tell them that it was indeed a digivice. But since he ad interrupted him he had gotten a bit angry at him, mad about how things were beginning to look.
Takato knew that his partner, nor anyone else's would ever come back, at least not to the Real World. The best he could tell this kid was to forget everything as if it hadn't happened.
"I'm sorry Jeremy. I'm not sure what happened, but...I think it would be best if we got out of here."

Even though Takato had spoken to him, Jeremy had kept his eyes on the Digivice. He wasn’t exactly sure what it was, but looking at it filled him with excitement and made him anxious to find out what it was and what exactly could it do. Though, he was frightened as well. Jeremy looked towards Takato, watching him react to the device that had appeared before him and couldn’t help but feel as if Takato was lying to him.
“Huh, go where Takato? Are you sure you don’t know what’s going on!?” Rushing towards Takato, Jeremy held on to the Digivice, in fear that it might grow wings and fly away. He wasn’t sure what he should do, but he knew that he should listen to Takato. Something from within was telling him that it would be best to follow Takato’s orders, so he stood directly behind Takato, hoping that he would lead the way.

Takato walked out of the lunchroom briskly, trying not to appear as if he was phased by the situation, cool and calm. In class he was known as the class's "Resident Pilot" since he was always daydreaming and whatnot. But then again, he had always been that way, even all the way back in elementary school. He sighed aloud as he looked over at Jeremy, wondering if he understood what this all meant. Takato had no real clue what was going on, only what he knew from past experiences when it came to such a situation. He wasn't the smartest of guys, nor was he the most tactful, but he did have a courageous heart and yearning to want to figure things out.
Walking into the boys' bathroom hopefully with Jeremy following behind him. He stopped by the sink and splashed his face once with water, trying to get a grip on reality, a handle on himself so he could at least try to be composed about it all.
"Jeremy. Digmon are real." Takato said in a rather calm manner. "That thing you have there is exactly what you think it is, a digivice." He said, looking Jeremy directly in the eyes, trying to seem as serious as he could. But the thing was that people never took him serious, at least not the kids in class. Everyone knew him as the clumsy daydreamer with no real aspirations except to become a famous artist one day. That was his only real release anymore, to draw out his feelings and everything that came to mind, making sure to try to improve every day.
It was how everything would begin for Jeremy, but would it restart for Takato? If digivices were beginning to appear...would his digivice begin to work once more? Would Guilmon show up into his life once more? His mind was racing once more, as he thought of the past. Jeri, Henry, Rika, Kazu, Kenta...would they be off on another adventure once more? He hoped that nothing was going to happen, nothing bad at least, because if it did, it would involve all of them again. He could never....never....allow any of his friends to be put into harm's way again, especially not Jeri who had such a horrible experience last time. If something was truly happening, he wanted to do it by himself, hide the truth from the others and destroy whatever possible threats their were alone...but first...he needed Guilmon.
"I guess...I should tell you more than just that."

-ENTER LUNA/DIANA-
Luna entered the schoolyard, everyone seemed to be hanging out this morning. After all, school wouldnt begin for some time. In her backpack was her partner, Diana. Digivice clipping to her backpack, she moved into the school. "Ne, can I come out since no one is here?" Diana asked in a whisper. Luna looked around, hiding in a hallway, she opened up her bag, her partner floating out. "How come you never let me out?" She asked sadly, floating in front of Luna who sat down. "Because people will freak! They'd call the air force!" Luna said sadly. "I dont want you to leave me Diana." Luna said as Diana floated down, touching her partner's hand, she smiled tenderly. "Ill never leave you, Luna-chan." Diana said as Luna looked up, pulling her partner into a hug, she held onto her. Little did she know, someone else would soon meet their digimon.

OOC: Sorry for my slight dissapearance >_<.
Following his pace, Jeremy quickly walked behind Takato, wondering where exactly he would take him. He wasn’t sure what was going on yet, but he was positive that Takato had an idea on what was happening. He noticed Takato had gone inside the boys bathroom and he followed him inside of the bathroom, hoping that he would answer his questions, since Jeremy’s head was filled with millions of questions that needed to be asked.
“Digi…Digimon are real!?”
Jeremy watched Takato wash his face with the sink water in amazement. From the news Takato had just told him, he was both excited as well as shocked. He had loved watching Digimon when he was a kid, and loved to play the Digimon card game as well. Though, if Digimon were real, and the digidestined’s had both a Digivice and a partner digimon, wouldn’t that mean Jeremy would be getting a digimon…
“This, this is amazing! Wouldn’t it mean I would get my own digimon partner!? What about you Takato, do you have one?”
Never being this excited in his life, Jeremy had just blurted out the words without containing his excitement. He wanted to bounce around the whole bathroom with joy, even though it was highly unlike him and meet up with his partner digimon. He wondered how exactly would he or she looked like, and hoped that the digimon would be friendly as well, but he couldn't help but wonder how Takato had known all of this.

Takato sighed again, looking straight at Jeremy, twiddling his thumbs a bit. Guilmon was still in the digital world, considering that they haven't seen one another in two years. The fact was that he wasn't even sure if Guilmon was still okay. Lately, he had been having recurring dreams about Guilmon being deleted by dark digimon who were trying to take over the digital world, which was a rather stupid dream. But somehow, he couldn't help worry for his kindhearted partner's well being. He wondered if the others were taking good care of Guilmon, since he was the most childish of the bunch. Hopefully everyone was getting along and keeping things civil amongst themselves. That was all he needed, seeing them all together again and hating one another with a burning passion.
"It's been two years since I've seen Guilmon." He played with a blank card, a card that used to be a blue card. As soon as Guilmon and him split up, the blue card's face faded to pure white and now it just looked like a blank card. "Two years ago....lots of things happened." Takato said, not really saying much, yet saying enough...or so he thought. Details weren't necessary at this point, only the basics. "All digimon were sent back to the digital world...and the link between our worlds has been blocked...maybe....I don't know..."

(Sorry not much to type.)
Luna watched Diana float around, floating down the hall back and forth. Luna stood up, fixing her purple digivice around her neck, she looked down at the wood, pretending to balance herself on the line, she grinned as she headed forward. "Go go Luna-chan! Go go!" Diana said floating around in circles, clapping with her small paws as Luna stumbled. "Awwww! But you got pretty far!" Diana said floating over. Luna took the small rabbit in her hands, moving her up and down while the two giggled.
