Dex hadnt been paying enough attention in his anger, not noticing the bomb until it had exploded, tossing him back quite a ways, crying out in pain as he tumbled to the ground, though quickly recovering his barings, getting to his feet again, and firing several more metal spheres twords Commandramon. Mini watched on intently. He knew Dex's limits. The explosion had taken much out of him, but it wouldn't bring him down. Not just yet...

Commandramon knew that he was at an advantage when it came to speed and offensive power, but his defensive abilities were mainly geared towards not being noticed. Which placed him at a serious disadvantage in this fight, which was a straight-on, head-to-head slugfest.
One of the metal balls was poorly aimed and missed cleanly, plunging into the water. The other clipped Commandramon on the helmet; the hit didn't do much damage at all, but the cyborg dodged to the side with a yelp of shock. "Let's jump this up!" Margras yelled, snagging one of his cards. "Digi-Modify! Evil Chip activate!"
"M16 Assassin!" Commandramon yelled, unleashing a full-auto barrage at the Dorumon.
40.Name: Evil Chip Duration: 1 Post Color: Yellow Effect: If the type of a digimon modified by this card is Virus, they will gain the power of an 'Ultimate' level digimon for the duration of the effect.

Dex couldn't escape the blast of the gun, not having the best reaction time after firing such an onslaught, however, he recognized the name of the card the human had called out, and knew he was in trobule when the barrage flew twords him, crying out in pain as a cloud of sand and smoke was kicked up, before slowly growing silent. Nothing could be seen through the dust, the only sound in the area was the rush of waves to the shore, however, the digimons voice rang out, and soon his sillowette appeared from within.
"Gah... that hurt... you guys aint half bad..." The digimon said, though certianly not sounding hurt. His figure became clear, and the monster was staring down commandramon, an amused smirk on his face, and absolutely no damage done to him. He was perfectly fine. "Not half bad, but if thats all you have, you cant possibly hope to defeat me."
"Quit toying with them Dex." The tamers voice came, as he was revealed, it was shown he held a card and his D-Arc in one hand, and several other cards in the opposite. Eight, in all, as opposed to their three. He had on that same mischevious smirk that his partner had. "Lets show them what we really can do..."

"We've used up our best card already," Commandramon said, frowning, "Looks like we're going to have to start using all our talents."
Seconds later, Commandramon was next to invisible, darting away into the bushes where he was hidden. Although Margras was out in the open still, he still held a slight smile on his face.
"By the damage we've done," he said, "I'd say Dex is a Data type. Commandramon is a Virus type. Plus he doesn't need to be modified to become almost undetectable." Tiny puffs of sand stitched a line right next to Dex; the silenced rifle's sound was so faint, even to the sensitive ears of the Dorumon, that the direction that the shots had come from could not be determined.

The hair on the back of Dex's neck stood up as Commandramon dissapeared, but his smirk did not diminish. Indeed, it got wider with Margas's words, spawning a laugh from him.
"Judging by the damage you have done? My friend, in case your eyesight is going, I am perfectly fine!" he taunted, seeming to thoroughly enjoy the situation, actually, his partner beginning to get his wide smirk as he realized what Dex wished to do. "And DATA? My friend, you shall find no such goody two-shoes heritage within me! Ey Mini! Lets show these fellas what a bone-a-fied virus I am, deep down into my corrupted core!"
The boy nodded, chuckling as he swiped the card through his D-Arc, which lit up with a black glow upon the screen. Materializing above Dex were large, pitch black gear looking objects, which began to spin so fast that they essentially became blades. They suddenly flew forwards, but not at the tamer nor the place the digimon may be hiding. They shot downwards, right into Dex's back, crying in pain as they tore him open and dug down into his body, cringing and closing his eyes. However, his cries soon melted away into a deep type of moan, seeming to tolerate their intrudance into his body, before he began to enjoy it, beginning to laugh meniacally as they protruded from his back and continued their spinning, if a bit slower, though all the same looking like it should be rather painful.
"Yes... yes! YES!" He cried, laughing almost insanely, his eyes shooting open for one to see them as nothing but a mass of black binary code, flowing through the sockets rather fast. "You, my friend, have no clue who you are messing with! But I assure you, this confrontation shall be your last!"
His body began to gather a dark aura, starting to enlarge, quickly growing to twice his size as the gears continued their incessant spinning into his form, this defiantly not looking good...

"Hey!" Margras exclaimed, "Quit it with the card swiping! You can hardly call it a victory if you keep doing that!"
A bomb suddenly arced out of the darkness and landed at Dex's feet, exploding a second later. This explosion was much louder, and not the muffled thump the first bomb had produced.
"That's... going to draw attention, Commandramon," Margras said into his Digivice. "Don't have much choice, Sir," came the reply, "If he keeps doing that, I think we may have to retreat..." "Agreed," Margras said, looking up at Mini, "Retreat, wait until we can reach Champion, then come back... But a Virus-type Dorumon? That can't bode well..."

The explosion caused a cry of pain from the larger Dex, stumbling backwards and seeming disoriented, but not particularly harmed as he emerged from the smoke and saw the two on the retreat.
"Oh? Leaving already? I wouldn't hear of it! METAL CANNON!" He bellowed out, his voice seeming more... demonic, disoriented, and fired an extremely large metal sphere from his mouth. It hurtled twords the two, but flew right over their heads, perhaps intentionally, as it crashed into a nearby lifeguard tower with a loud 'BOOOOM!' taking down the structure, causing it to fall to the ground "You guys are gonna miss the party! Ive got this irrasistable sensation growing up inside me! Just begging for some mayhem! Some discord! What say you Mini? What say we stur up some fun!"
"I say lets Dex!" The human said, a smile of his own as he looked down at his digivice, displaying the amount of time till the card deactivated, which was quite a long time indeed. "This world has gone too long thinking your kind is just some childrens game! Our government has been concealing you for far too long! Lets show all those folks what happens when your wish for monsters to be real suddenly comes true!"

Both Digimon and Tamer covered their faces as splinters rained on them. "This isn't good," Commandramon said, lowering his arm and looking back at the oversized virus Dorumon, "I know most Dorumon are aggressive, but this guy is off the scale!" "I know," Margras replied, his coat flying out as he spun to face them, "And we're in a position where you'd have to Digivolve to match this guy's power. Dammit! If only Calumon were here!" "He's not... and that means we have to improvise... Strike Claw!" A beam of energy shot from the wrist-blade Commandramon had just deployed, and streaked towards Dex.

The dorumon cried out as the energy beam hit him, a groan of pain erupting as he tried to deflect it with a paw. It didn't seem like it was terribly painful though, shaking the attack off rather easily and glaring at the two with a sinister growl.
"Oh? The safety of your little secret goes into jeopardy and then you guys step into the fray? Insignificant worms!" He bellowed out, raising a foot up high "Ill crush you like the bugs you are!"
He brought his foot down, aiming to stomp on the two, however, right before collision he was halted by his partner.
"Wait!" Minato said, having realized something. The digimon obeyed, growling, rather obviously annoyed by the fact he had been stopped, but obeying the human for now. "Did you mention something about... Calumon?"

"I cannot reveal anything to you, Commandramon said coldly, "about that subject." "Commandramon has a point," Margras said, "Calumon is too valuable a resource to reveal his whereabouts... even if we actually knew them." A moment later, he was gone, likely in the trees again, and Margras slipped away into the dunes. "We're not running away," Margras said, "But evening the playing field... But if you really want an all-out battle, meet us at the Dinosaur in Shinjuku Park in three months. By then, our variance in strength will have, possibly, been rectified."
Commandramon remembered something from earlier, when he had still been watching. "You aren't pleased with BlackOmnimon, are you?" he said, chuckling, "I always expected that his army would begin to fragment eventually."
