OoC: To the point is the only way to go sometimes. Remember that, in actual books, dialogue sometimes degrades into a series of short one-sentence paragraphs, often even leaving off the "he said" sentence.
BiC: Zerix nodded and finally allowed Vincent step inside ahead of him before entering himself. He closed the door behind him with one hand and let out a sigh. Before he could even speak, Bearmon was suddenly not so still. He scrambled out of Zerix's grasp, up his shoulder, around his neck, and up to the top of his head.
Zerix couldn't even protest for his surprise. He was afraid that if he moved too much, the digimon would fall right off, but Bearmon didn't seem to share his fear.
"Sorry about that!" Bearmon exclaimed, "I didn't think you were such a bad guy, but Zerix didn't seem to trust you, so I pretended to be one of those fake furry things little humans carry around. Good disguise, huh?" Bearmon seemed oddly proud of himself, sitting on top of his far-too-old-to-have-a-teddy-bear partner.
Zerix glanced up and then back at Vincent, reconciled to Bearmon's choice of position. He didn't really care. "I don't suppose Bearmon is your dangerous 'something'."

Quietly following them, it was a bit of a surprise that the stuff animal was actually the digimon. He questioned his instincts as it seemed to stay perfectly still. Thought I was a bit paranoid, not right... I suppose it means he;ll have an easier time hiding him. Speaking of needing to know names...
Before he could ask, Bearmon went to tell Vincent his need to stay still. How he was speaking made him sound more like an excited kid than one of a monster. They probably have different personalities and looks. I'm probably going to be paranoid of stuff animals for a while... Wait. To Bearmon, "How long have you been here and where, to notice this? Besides, that disguise might actually cast suspicion on Zerix. At first I thought he was younger, but now he looks 'too old' to carry you around. Though he could stuff you in a bag and say you're for a younger sibling or something."
Zerix then asks his question. "Sadly, not all digital monsters are as friendly. Some will attack others, if given the chance. I'm trying to find my monster, actually." Takes a quick sigh, "I've been trying to track, no luck yet. Could I get both of your names please? It's annoying for me not to able direct my questions."

Bearmon seemed perfectly happy to explain himself to Vincent now that he didn't have to stay immobile. Zerix didn't realize he was quite this... social. "Oh, me? I've been around for a while. I've been looking for my partner for... about..." The little teddy bear tapped its chin in a very human-like fashion, "Twenty seven cycles, I think you call them days."
Zerix shrugged when Vincent mentioned that, now that he'd had a better look, Zerix seemed way too old for a teddy bear. For all he cared, though, people could just think of him as that wimp or weirdo that always had a stuffed animal on him. They'd be more likely to think that than to suspect that the stuffed animal was actually alive.
"I'm Zerix." He offered and was about to introduce his digimon, "And this is-" when he was interrupted.
"Bearmon! Nice to meet'cha!" Bearmon leaped from his perch up on Zerix's head, arms outstretched, trying to, for all intents and purposes, glomp Vincent.

[I'm extremely sorry for my lack of inactivity, been really busy]
For not apparent reason, Bearmon launched himself off of his partner. The Man was taking by surprised, especially as the Digimon had caught on his left arm. "E-e-eh... You know, I was just attacked by a giant chicken and cat the other day. Mind giving me a bit of a warning next time."
Yesterday was when he learned about Digimon, off hand. The event turned out for the best, but Vincent has been jumpy. It didn't help he felt like a little kid, last night. He had a hard time falling asleep, as these Monsters can just appear at random. Luckily he can just look at the digivice. Being able to tell if one is around has prevented the Journalist from being completely paranoid.
Taking a deep, he tries to focus on what he was going to say. I'm too jumpy... Just a second. "Excuse me, Bearmon. Would you know anything about tracking down other Digimon? There's one I would like to fine, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for."[/color]
