Fog under the Moon (Open)

Dorumon enjoyed seeing how riled up Gazimon was getting, the insults seeming to hit home, and attacking his partner seemed to only fuel the fire. Well, with the tamers hands hurt like that, and Gazimons metal coating fading, it seemed that he was losing those advantages he had earlier.

"You absorb my data?" He said in a mocking tone of disbelief "You seem to be that goody-goody type. I don't think you would have the guts."

He cringed as the electricity flowed through his body, too close up to avoid it this time, though he still had that smug smirk on his face as he was knocked back by the attack. It seemed this guy was getting pretty serious. Recovering himself, he looked over at the Gazimon

"Data SHOULD be your main priority kid... Power makes the world go round. The more powerful you are, the less people can mess with you." He brushed his fur off as he regained his composure "I don't intend to give my data to anyone. Ever. Im gonna crush you beneath my feet, just like everyone that comes after you. And your gonna help me, right kid?"

The digital field began to lift, now clearing up around them as moonlight illuminated the area, and revealed that there was actually another person with them, a boy. Minato was a bit surprised as the digimon addressed him. He had been watching for quite some time, but had assumed they were too held up in their battle to notice him. He froze. He wasn't sure exactly why the digimon was asking for HIS help, he had only followed his strange device here. Yet, somehow he felt an odd pull to the creature. He seemed... familiar, in a way...

Abby was still holding her hand closely, repeating over and over in her head how stupid that was, but she had to make sure Gazimon was OK. And she was thankful he was, she knew the card's effect had wore off, she wouldn't pull out another one most likely. If Gazimon was almost out of energy she would most likely force him to run. Looking at her hand, she tried to move her hand in regular motions, but it only send up jolts of pain. She quickly grabbed her bag before retreating back into the fog.

Gazimon smirked as the attack hit, it seem to stun the Dorumon only for a short moment, but at least that was a small part of what the Digimon was about to feel. He wanted to make it pay. The Digimon's ears seem to move for a moment, then they stopped and his gaze rested on the shadowy figure of a human.

"Tsk, you have a human?" He took a step back. The Dorumon was addressing someone only a moment ago, he didn't know who though. Gazimon took another step back, yes, they must have had to same relationship as him and Abby. The thing that tipped him off in this case is the Digivice, he was all to familiar with that thing. Feeling cornered now, he decided that maybe it was time to get out of here. He wasn't sure if they would follow, but all he was sure about was that he needed to get Abby back to her home.

"Abbby! Come on let's get out of here!" Gazimon skidded to a stop in front of her human who seemed to be in pain. She was leaning against the wall, her teeth gritted, and she seemed to be restraining tears coming to her eyes. "Give me the bag!" He said, urgency in his voice. Abby didn't argue, she let the Gazimon grab it in it's mouth, and both were running down the ally way.

There was a smug look among Dex's face as he watched the two run away. Minato didn't exactly know what to make of the scene. A small part of him felt sorry for the girl, who seemed rather sad as she fled, but a larger part of him felt... empowered. He didn't know exactly why, but his appearance is what triggered that fear that had been stricken into their hearts, and it felt good.

"Your... not chasing after them?" He asked to the strange creature that stayed by his side.

"Nah, they ain't worth my time." Dex said, looking over to his apparent human partner "You got a name kid?"

"Er..." he studdered. He was rather suprised at how forward the creature was being with him. From what he saw a few minutes ago, he was quite violent. "Its Minato..."

"Well then Mini, Im Dorumon. Feel free to call me Dex if ya want." Minato was a bit taken aback by the nickname. Nobody ever called him something like that before, but he didn't want to refuse "And I assume that device of yours is pointing twords me?"

Minato looked down at his D-Arc. Indeed, the arrow on the screen was pointing twords the black Dorumon. He said nothing, but nodded.

"Well then, it looks like from now on, the two of us are partners." Dex continued "And I guess Ive got some explaining ta do. Come on kid. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful friendship..."
