Well then you can call me Mitsuki. Mitsuki Haruno." she said with a grin. "I must say your name itself means nothing to me. But I do admire your confidence. I have to say I am interested in seeing what this runner up can do." she said before looking back down at her digivice. When Kell hit she smiled. Way to go Kell! she thought. She reached into her bags and pulled out her cards...she only had five cards, so she had to make sure she used them right. She was going to support Kell the best way she could. She may not battle all the time but she knew what to do and she had faith in her digimon. Kell smiled at his response. "I don't believe in luck. Just skill!" he said with a twirl. Oh how he loved flying! This would be fun! He had to admit he was very much enjoying this. He might have taken a nasty hit before but he wasn't about to give in so easily. He had been itching for a fight and now he had one, he wasn't going to let it go to waste. Mitsuki looked up as he showed the card, she quickly looked back down at her digimon as she saw the attack coming. Oh no! "We will see about that!" she said as she showed her own card, the same one and quickly scanned it. She wanted to support him the best way she could, and cards were how she did it. She didn't realize that she helped more then that by simply being there, but then again she had no idea just how alive digimon really were. Kell readied himself for another attack when the other digimon came at him with great speed. Oh no! Suddenly he felt his body change as he jumped, flying out of the way. He was quick! Much quicker then before! Thanks Mi-chan he thought as he spun around, diving back down at Strabimon. "Zekkoushou!" He shouted again as his body bagan to light up, leaving a trail of sparks as he flew towards Strabimon. Maybe she would prove to be a good enough tamer after all. He would watch her draw at a few cards from her bag. Watching only to see what she would use, he would expect her to possess the same basic card. Yet, this would only prolong things, but he would watch to see how she would do for now. She was interesting to watch, was he ever like that when he first started battling? He couldn't imagine it, she depended on hope and he depended on skill. Which would be the one to prevail in this? Why was he beginning to question himself on what he should know?

No, he couldn't do that during a battle. Confidence was key to his victories. He would win, he had to win. If not, how else would he know if what his father said was true or not, that his mother had died. No, he didn't feel that was the truth, that was why he distance himself from his father. He needed to make sure that his name was known for him to whether his mother could find him or not. If she never made contact, than he would know the truth. If not, but Koji never thought about the what if nots. He would stare down at the battle on his digivice, willing for Strabimon to show them what they were truly about.

Strabimon saw the shift in the Kudamon's speed. This match just now became even again, At least Strabimon was more prepared for it this time. He would fall back into a defensive stance with his arms up to take the attack. As the flying beast would collide with him, he would lessen the damage done to him. Gritting his teeth, the force of the attack would slide him back. Pushing back with his right foot, he would attack with a white aura'd leg. "Light Leg." The dog-like digimon would yell out.

Mitsuki did indeed rely on hope, but she had the faith that her digimon would do his best. She looked up at Koji for a moment, it seemed that a lot was going through his head at the moment, was his mind truly on the battle? "Are you ok?" she asked him curiously, was something bothering him? It was too early to tell who would win the battle just yet so he can't be that worried. The odds could turn in either's favor at any moment. Kell didn't have much time to react, after his move hit, or was blocked was more like it, he felt the kick as he flew back a little. Shaking his head slightly he glared at Strabimon. "Holy Shot!" he shouted as he spun around, a ball of light forming at the tip of his tail which he shot at Strabimon. Mitsuki winced a little as Kell took the hit, she realized just how...bad she felt that he was getting hurt. You can do it Kell...I know you can. she thought as she closed her eyes for a moment before reopening them. He can handle it, she knows he can. But she still hates to see him get hurt. This is why she didn't battle too often. But, even though she loved caring for her digimon she knew that he was indeed right, digimon needed to battle as well. It just just a part of how they were programmed. Even if she didn't like it, Kell didn't seem to mind. ...When I find my wings

Koji was determined to prove his worth, even to his own father that still really didn't seem to fully notice him at times. The man did get him the game and allow him to get deep into it. This was the way to change that, or he could only hope. Strabimon could do this, he was his partner and he also fought for him. He had to prevail but just like in the tournament, when it came to that match with Takuya. He never saw the outcome of that match coming and it had almost broken him. His name would of been there but things never go as planned. So his best option was to make it difficult.

Quickly pulling out another card, he would find himself pulling the Yellow Bean card. A grin spread on his face at the sight of it. Looking up at her as she spoke to me. "I wouldn't be worrying about me right now." Scanning in the card, he would hold it in his off hand. Pressing another button, he would command Strabimon to use his other move.

Strabimon felt the boost in power. This would definitely give him the power. His current scan was about to end and it would still be pretty even. Getting the next command sent to him, he would nod in unseen response. "Understood, Koji." The digimon would pull his arm back and jump towards the Kudamon charging it's blast. Strabimon would yell out to his target, "Darkness Hand." Once the attack was shot towards him, he would thrust his own arm forward and deflect the shot and destroy it with his Champion-level power boost. Continuing through to hit the producer of the attack.

She pulled out a card of her own and scanned it as well. "We will see." she said as she ran her own card. Digivolution. It was now or never. Mitsuki didn't have any pressing problems at home, nothing other then work worries to trouble her mind. So she was rather clear minded. The only trouble she could initially think of is her manager trying to get her to get rid of her digimon. But she quickly pushed that aside. "Well I suggest you keep your mind on the fight. You seem side tracked." she said before her eyes returned to her digivice. Kell gasped when his his was destroyed by Strabimon, as he came at him quickly. Suddenly Kell felt an immense power surging through him as his form quickly shifted in a beam of light. He came out as Leppamon, as he grinned. Payback. "Rolling Tackle!" he shouted as he spun around, his tail whipping around to come down on Strabimon, and his attack. After his attack he could feel his speed decreasing, the last card was wearing off. But this new form was a nice replacement. Mitsuki's eyes widdened at the site of her digivolved digimon, though it was temporary, she had never seen him in this form before. Even in pixel form he looked so...odd. Was that a blade for a tail? She wasn't quite sure what to make of it, but she hoped it would help turn the tables a bit in their favor. Seemed that she kept countering what he was doing and in a good way. She seemed to be an adept fighter, he definitely underestimated her tamer skills. Maybe he should stop judging a book by its cover. Yet, she was still trying to be the one trying to school him. A would only laugh at her comment, she really didn't know how focused on the game he was. This was what was guiding him to his true purpose, his calling, his destiny. All his thoughts seemed to lead back to the digimon game and world at times.

It was like he felt drawn to it in some way. Then there were times when he felt like he could see through the eyes of Strabimon as he battled, knowing how to coordinate it but that couldn't be possible. It was how he felt though and it was an odd feeling at times, but he could never put the game down when he has the time to. A grin would form on his lips as he looked down on her digivolved digimon. "That still won't give you the assist that you need." Taking out another of his cards, he would scan in the Digicannon card and reveal it to Mitsuki.

Strabimon was put into a tight spot with this new level of a foe. Though, with tactics he was still able to defeat a few in his time with Koji. Nonetheless, he could not treat this like every other time. Each opponent was always different and so were tamer controlled digimon. They always fought with more feeling and determination, it was a better battle than the ones against the other digimon in the game that were uncontrolled.

As his speed and power boost were beginning to end, he would move out of the way once his attack was deflected. Rolling to the side as he dodged his opponent, sliding up right as his eyes never left the rolling digimon. That's when his new modification came in. His right arm now became like that of a Gorrillamon's cannon arm. He grinned as he charged it up, now he could play the long-ranged fighter. "Better catch me before your time runs out." Jumping backwards and flipping into the air once he shot the cannon at the Champion-level digimon.

Koji wasn't sure how this all would go. He knew that Strabimon and him had the skill, but would her own style of battling win? Could his way have been wrong this whole time? Maybe that was why he was runner-up. No, he was beaten by lucky shot. He would not believe that his own skill wasn't that good, not yet at least.

Mitsuki was pleased with the fact that she has held on like this, this was after all, her first time battling another tamer. However she saw other kids her age do it, often n waiting rooms, so she wasn't completely blind obviously. She did enjoy the thrill of the battle, even if she hated her sweet little Kell getting hurt. She knew it was an unfortunate side affect of battling. Little did she know just how much Kell was enjoying this. He loved the thrill of the battle, and even when he got hit the grin never left his face. Even if the mask hid the grin at the moment. He let out a scowl when Strabimon rolled out from under him, his blade slashing into the ground before he fixed himself, staring down his opponent. He noted Strabimon's comment as he chuckled. "We will see about that." he said when he was taken aback by the cannon. He tried to dodge but missed as he was hit by the cannon. He glared at Strabimon as he flipped around. "Razor Wind!" as he shouted that his blade sliced at the wind, sending the blades through the air towards Strabimon. Kell was feeling his hits however, but he knew he had to hold out as long as he could. At least this new form helped him hold up, even if just for a little longer. Mitsuki winced again as Kell took the hit, She did have a plan but he needed to hold out for a little bit longer. If she used another card of hers now her plan would be ruined. Koji was getting anxious, battles tended to do that to him. Getting his lust for achievement a boost. would look on to the battle as his demon man digimon would get another hit in. Though, he wonder how long he could last against the Champion digimon. His battles against them were never easy to begin with but he could still swing the tides of battle. He could only hope that Strabimon could hold out until than.

The bandana wearing kid would begin to slowly reach for his next and last card. Holding it in his hand for the moment he would need it. If he did lose, he was going to make this a memorable fight for the girl. If he was just a runner-up, she would know what people of his caliber could do still.

Strabimon would grin as he witnessed his shot make the hit. He was glad to be getting some distance from the other digimon. The knowledge on one like this was lost to him, never having seen one like it before. Maybe his tactics would pay off, but than he realized that it was also a long ranged fighter too. Watching as his bladed tail with an eye swung his way and sent a blade of wind at him.

He would hit the ground, feeling that one deeply but he could still continue this. He laid on the ground and shot at the holy beast again while laying prone. It made his aim a bit better since he took that hit harder than most during this fight. Now wasn't the time to take a breather, he had to keep going for Koji's sake. He would roll away and into a standing position while keeping his eyes and cannon on the Leppamon.

Koji could almost feel the major hit that Strabimon would take. This couldn't be the end yet. Strabimon would prevail, he could do it, he was good enough. Just like how Koji felt at times.

She had only used two of her five cards, she still had three left. Though she couldn't use at least once at the moment, it would only hurt her to use it. Right now she had to prepare, he had to have something hidden, something he was planning. But she was going to try and be prepared for it. Though she couldn't see the full extent of the battle through the pixels fighting, she knew that Kell was weakening. He had taken several hits, they had to move carefully. Kell Smiled as he saw his own attack hit, watching as Strapimon fell to the ground. He was down. but not out, he made that clear as he made another shot at him. Once again Kell took the hit, he wavered a bit, but managed to steady himself. Shaking his head. He had to hold on. He ran to gain speed and spun as he shouted "Rolling Tackle!" once more as his blade came to fall upon Strabimon. He needed to try and end this before he became too weak to fight back. Three, the count was three, at this Mitsuki ran her card through, she needed to be able to play another card so it was time to use this. Reboot. She smiled and showed the card right after she swiped it, that would buy her five more turns. Koji was glad to see how well Strabimon was still fairing in this battle. Though, would his skill still prevail? This girls digimon was well taken care of, he had to admit for him to still be standing. He knew that Strabimon couldn't take a hit or it would be the end of him most likely. He clenched his right hand tightly around his digimon, hoping that his own determination for Strabimon to come out of this on top.

His eyes would drift up to the Mitsuki. This girl definitely taught him that he shouldn't judge people so harshly anymore but everyone still needed some careful consideration. Maybe things could be different at this but he wasn't sure about that. She still mocked him in the beginning and he couldn't let that go so easily just yet, not until he proved himself to her more. His eyes would quickly watch to see how the fight would unfold, his hand at the ready.

Strabimon got another direct hit but he was hurt badly still. His breathing was heavier as he couldn't make any sudden movements just yet. As his eyes focused in, he would see that the bigger digimon would make another pass at him. Strabimon felt the determination from his partner and pushed himself harder. Rolling himself back over to avoid the attack, he would than stop himself to prepare for his next move, hoping that Koji was going to use the new card that he had received.

Koji would than see swipe his last and final card, hopefully the game changer in all of this. Yet, he could see that she still held some cards left to use. This would restart the count for the Digicannon, since she decided to use hers, it was definitely time to use his own. His left hand would return his unusable cards back into their holster.

Strabimon the DigiCannon was beginning to de-digitize but before it fully could, it reform back over his own arm. Koji always knew what he needed. Bring his right arm back up, he would steady it with his left hand as he aimed it at the rolling digimon and shot at it again. Another pass like that and Strabimon would be out for it.
