Aha! His maneuver seemed to have worked - the flying digimon did not seem to have evaded his roll-over move, and would have been trapped underneath him, or so the big fishy thought after he did not see her making haste to get off while she still could. Yay! I would win! - a happy thought went through his head, but you know what they say - hope is the first step towards disappointment. And what happened next attested to it.
- Hey, what gives? - he gasped in amazement as he felt the opponent push him back - slowly, but surely. Tis was pretty hard for the shark to believe - he was like, really heavy, with the armaments and armor and all that. Honestly, he did not expect the darcmon to be THAT strong, it was similar for a human to push a vehicle from his body - improbable. And yet he was there, and finally, Ciel tossed him away.
- Wha?! - another gasp of amazement came around, but he did not hit the ground, instead used the gust of air he released as an airbag to stop his uncomfortable fall and get back into hovering position again. This battle was beneficial indeed - even though he did not notice it, not he held himself in the air much more surely than at the beginning. The way he evaded impact with the ground proved it. Then he heard the words about him losing battle.
- Says who? Oh... - he said turning around, and then saw the blade in her hands. How did she manage to drag it back without him noticing? Didn't matter now, Ciel made a pretty valid point - she'd make a few holes in his skin with that can-opener. Although it was very demeaning for proud digimon, he had to acknowledge defeat. After all, he was all in scratches after this, and she didn't take as much as a hit. Seemingly. The shark frowned, his head lowered to the ground, acknowledging defeat, but the he suddenly spotted the angel ... wincing?
- You ok? - he asked, displeasure partially replaced with concern. He didn't seem to hit her in any way, did he? There was no blood around and all that, he thought feverishly, thinking where could have he been not too careful and all that...

"I'm fine, I simply overworked myself a little"
Anyone who was experienced enough to see more than just the external injuries could notice that the Darcmon didn't end the battle unscatched. Sure, her body had no wounds at all and no visible damage could be detected, but the muscles of all her body were still tense from the battle and her hands swollen a little due the strain and effort pushed into the despite they needed more time to be in optimum conditions.
Despite the internal damage caused for overworking her body, the angel digimon felt that fighting with the tylomon in a handicap battle was worth it, now he was levitating with a lot more proficiency than before and surely he learned one or two lessons that would help him to get stronger. As for why this one was a handicap match in favor of the tylomon? He had his own handicap of not being able to "swim" through the sky like he used to do underwater, but the darcmon's was a greater handicap because she never actually used her swords as ... swords and only used them as glorified projectiles. She was strong, but with her bare hands she had no way of causing any important damage against the tough skinned digimon, and she thought that he wasn't ready to have a serious sparring match using their 100% given that her swords could mess up his body badly if used properly and he still needed to be in one piece as he was still adapting to the world outside the ocean. If he were to end up injured, the digimon from the surface could take advantage of him and do baad things.
She sat a little on the ground and performed some breathing exercises, that always helped her to relax her body and mind to recover from stressful situations.
"You should relax as well to help your body to recover energy. I might look like everything I did was effortlessly as I left the battle visually unscratched, but any seasoned warrior would notice that my muscles become stiff and tense from overworking them and that my stamina was running out. What I mean is that not all battles are won from beating a foe with raw power, sometimes is better to fatigue them in a war of attrition slowly diminishing their vitality until they cannot fight even if their bodies lacked of any actual damage. Take advantage of your great enthusiasm and large reserves of energy and tire out the opponent if he's impossible to beat using strength alone"
Had the battle continue, she would've been the one defeated; her endurance was reaching its limit while the tylomon still had enough stamina to continue battling, and that was the reason why she decided to finish the battle in that exact moment. Besides, the tylomon could've gotten the victory on his head and stop taking seriously his training in the case he won. She has seen many times young and promising digimon becoming overconfident after winning their first major battle ad slacking off.

- Nay, plenty energy left. We were fighting for how long? 5 minutes or so? - the shark still sounded upbeat and ready. He didn't seem to get weary at all, and there was a reason for that - while angel was strong indeed, he was made of muscle, and it was another reason he was so fast and agile in water. On the ground his capabilities were much hindered, but not enough to make him lose breath fast. If anything, he could have kept fighting for a good hour and still have enough to continue. But she did not know that.
And then the tactic speak came around. Tylo felt like he was back in the department again. That was what always the instructor said: "Tylo, stop hammering the damn mannequin into the ground and think for a second!" Needless to say, he never listened. His sheer onslaught of speed and power was enough to overcome any foe. But that was underwater, here on ground he was not able to do the same - he was slower here, and couldn't fly. And now perhaps could see reason behind instructor's voice, and he could have sworn he heard him laugh.
- ... Err... - the shark didn't know how to put the question, but raised the fin as a scholar would raise a hand before asking a question, as he hovered closer. - How am I supposed to wear the enemies out without beating the living hell out of them? - he sounded completely oblivious to the concept. He had the idea that he should be coming at the enemy until he is either destroyed or surrenders. That was his idea of wearing out the enemies...
- And ... um... If you'd require me as transport, just ask... You know... - the shark felt a bit awkward about putting it, as he landed on the ground not too far away. She still looked pretty tired, and perhaps it wasn't the greatest idea of forcing her to a fight after she suffered so many injuries and such. Tylo felt a bit guilty, he thought he should have stayed with target practice...

"One day you will fight against somebody bigger, tougher and stronger than you, a foe that would never fall no matter how much you attacked, once you get yourself into a situation like that you will learn by yourself how to tire our the enemy."
The tylomon was quite big, in comparison 4 or 5 darcmons would cover the same area he covers, and most of his body was pure muscle, it wasn't hard to imagine him being matchless in the ocean, after all most of the aquatic digimon of the champion level were either big but slow, fast but weak or outright average and even less of them had his tough skin complimented by his armor, he was literally made to rule on all champion digimon. However, he relied too much on his natural abilities and would end up becoming an unpolished raw diamond if he didn't train his talents so he had both power and skill.
"No need for that, I only needed to rest a little, I'm now better"
After answering his question, she stand up and declined the tylomon's offer, she still was capable of walking and flying, the only thing that was troublesome was that her hands were a bit pained by the effort in the combat and anything she did with them would have a poor effect.
"Once you become a better warrior we will have a serious sparring match, you have plenty of unused potential that still needs to be polished"
It was still too soon for them to have a real sparring match in which one one was holding back their power. The darcmon wasn't completely healed yet and the tylomon was still an amateur; In a street brawl against some thugs he would win, but against digimon who were experienced warriors he would be curbstomped without mercy.

- Err... ok boss. I'll think up something to tire out the enemy... - the shark replied after some thinking, and gave out something of a military fashion salute with his fin - luckily they were pretty long to actually allow it. Tylo sure wished he had all of his books he left back at the department, where he was practicing. They all kinda taught the same thing, but the arrogant tylomon never read those, thinking they are useless since he is unmatched under water. There, maybe he was, but here - completely different. And he could have used what they were telling, if he remembered anything. He also figured out the old instructor who always scolded him was in fact, a wiser man.
After calling the darcmon "Boss", he officially recognized her as a more authoritative figure, a leader, if you will. She was an accomplished guard after all, who beat him in training run fair in square, while he was a trainee who was neglecting studies and now paid for it. A big, speedy, powerful, but still a trainee. Plus, she looked like she knew where she was going and what she was doing, so he didn't mind following.
- So boss, how 'bout we find a place for you to heal completely, and after that find some enemies to blast? - Tylo sounded eager, though he figured more fighting should wait until the teacher is fully healed and all that - or they'd be risking much in case of trouble. Or if he did something stupid...

"Good, that's how somebody worth of becoming a royal guard thinks"
She was actually surprised that the tylomon called her "boss". Only a few years ago she was a trainee herself who studied hard under the tutelage of slash angemon and now she had her very own student. What was that something she was feeling? Oh right, pride! That tylomon was giving a new meaning to her life, which until now consisted only in relentlessly pursuing parallelmon, maybe once she finished her revenge she could become a mentor to young, promising digimon like tylomon and make of this universe her new home.
"I'm feeling a lot better now, but I agree that we need to find a place where to rest. We should look around for a settlement and investigate about what is going on in this world, only then we could begin looking for strong digimon to fight against and maybe make some travel money, because as you know money spears louder than mere words and not everything can be solved through violence"
Said that, she traveled along her pupil away from the shores and into the inner parts of the mainland. Once they found a settlement where to rest, they could calmly decide where to go next.
