- I cannot know that, my liege. Mind-reading isn't really a virtue I possess... - the Tylomon replied ad would have shrugged, if he had shoulders. He gave up guessing long ago, and just waited for what the Lord had to say in the end - with him being so cryptic, it was anybody's guess what was on his mind.
- I assume you're leading somewhere with this, my lord. But if you need an object to be guarded - I can help out, I won't allow anyone coming near it closer than the range of my missiles would hit. And you will have a whole royal guard agent to be send on a more withstanding task. Or maybe an emissary needs guarding - these are dangerous times and all... - Tylo made a few oblivious guesses, not really expecting them to be approved.
Never the less, anything would have been better than spending the rest of his life as a mere ferry - it was horribly demeaning - like assigning a battle-ready warship to act as a floating pub instead of patrolling the boarders. With an impatient stare, the tylomon looked at the Lord, waiting for an answer...

This guessing game that Zudomon was playing at was turning out to be rather dull, which is not what the Ocean Lord had intended but intentions only got a Digimon so far in life. He guessed that he would have to get to the main point of it, but was Tylomon going to be ready for what the Ocean Lord was going to suggest. It might be worse than having to ferry people back and forth every day until something occurred to change the way things were done.
"Maybe some day you will be a full member of the Royal Guard, but for now I am suggesting that you train under one of them who is about ready to leave them. You might learn something from him that would prove useful to you as a Digimon and as a future Royal Guard member." This idea would give Tylomon something to do and save a particular Royal Guard member who had become lazy in his old age from having to search for his replacement.
Zudomon was not sure how well this idea would be received, which is why he refrained from saying the name of the Digimon who he would train under. If Tylomon was pleased by the idea, then he would divulge more information, but for now it would be enough to know that there was another option for the battle-worthy Digimon.

Tylomon gasped in amazement when he finally heard the Lord's words. He stood speechless out there for a few moment, not quite comprehending what he just heard. Sure, the shark hoped for a better assignment, but this ... this was like a gift from Heavens. Tylo never ever dreamed of being granted such an honor, and all out of the blue as well. Whatever that training might be, it would sure beat the ferry working shtick.
- My liege... I don't know what to say... Thank you! Thank you! Whatever that training might be, I am willing to give all my strength to pass it with dignity. Who my teacher would be? Thank you again!Just tell me what must be done and I'll do it, there are no bounds to my gratitude... - the shark exclaimed. After all, not every day you are promised membership in the Royal Guard. At the point, he was ready to do just about anything, if it would bring him closer to the goal that appeared so suddenly...

Zudomon could tell that his suggestion was a shocking one to Tylomon as the shark digimon had gasped and then became very quiet. He figured that this was a plausible solution that would inadvertently relieve the Ocean Lord of the whole situation as he left such matters up to the Royal Guard. It was a selfish thing to do, but he did not have tiem to keep up with every individual problem through its entirety. This is why Lords were allowed to delegate tasks to their underlings, which was one of the best perks he could think of.
"A Digimon by the name of Scorpiomon would be your teacher as he is a formidable figher as well as someone who can teach you the non-combatant side of being a Royal Guard member. Your only task is to listen to what he has to teach you and try to not anger him. While you may be a fast Digimon with a lot of firepower, Scorpiomon's abilities in close quarters combats might teach you some things that might help you in battle. He is also a skilled strategist when it comes to ending wars through non-violent means."

- 'Tis a great honor, my liege. I will try to live up to your expectations... - Tylo replied, following the Lord. Today was surely the greatest day in his life - the road was open to him now. And he was ready to endure any training to become one of the infamous Royal Guards. He couldn't have even hoped for such a chance, and it simply was given to him for granted. And he would not waste it.
- A am willing to learn everything Scorpiomon would wish to teach me... Where can I find him, my lord? - the shark asked. Once that is said, he would go and seek the teacher out immediately, not wishing to bother the Lord any longer with his petty requests. Tylo already got more than he hoped to gain from this meeting...

Zudomon was glad that Tylomon was pleased with this outcome, but given a few weeks the shark Digimon may not be. Scorpiomon was not the easiest of teachers, but his students were the most superb of warriors afterword. It was kind of like waiting for bread to bake. The process took quite a bit of time to complete, but the outcome was well worth the wait.
"It is not my expectations that you are going to have to meet in the end, so I hope you are ready for a long period of training. Scorpiomon is currently residing in the northeast section of the ocean region. Just look for his symbol on the ocean floor and finding him will be very easy after that.' There was not much more information that the Ocean Lord could give Tylomon, but he would try if he was asked.
