The Digi-eggs of Miracles and Destiny. These are what is known as the two Great Sources of Power. They are one of the the Resistance's last hope to protect the Digital World from being taken over by BlackOmnimon's quickly expanding empire. It is for that reason that Omnimon contacted the Area Lords and requested help from their most loyal servants. Despite the strong signals given off by the Digieggs in their radiance, the most difficult aspect was finding them in this barren wasteland.

Lilith had been hanging out in the forest, playing with her mirror when she was approached by a peckmon. He had delivered a message from blackomnimon that he wanted her to go to the badlands and look for something, digi-eggs or something like that. She walked along the cracked ground, her bag hanging over her shoulder as the blackgatomon looked around for something resembling the description she had been given. She didn’t completely know what she was looking for looked like, but an order’s an order.
Jumping on top of a rock, Lilith scanned the area, with such a large area to check out how was she suppose find a couple of measly eggs? And why the heck were they so damn important? Sighing, if she didn’t fear the consequences she would just up and leave, what was the point to this useless hunt? Her ringless tail flicked as she jumped down from the rock. At one point she had been ‘good’ a ‘holy’ digimon. But during her salamon years she fell from that track, and instead of digivolving into a holy gatomon, she went the opposite direction and became a blackgatomon.
“Hmm…now where to start…I hope they aren’t buried. I am NOT messing up my beautiful claws to dig for some eggs.” said Lilith as she held out one of her paws, examining her claws. She thought very highly of herself, and she was not going to get dirty just because she was ordered to find something…maybe she could find someone around here to do the work for her…that would be a much better situation…

"Hrmmm... I definitely prefer the ocean to the land," Kamemon said to Ryuudamon as they walked alongside each other. Both of them were a part of this resistance, and as such were trying to help Omnimon locate the Digieggs of Miracles and Destiny. If they could find those two Digieggs and take them back, they would be able to further Omnimonn in his plans. Even at this point, Kamemon wasn't entirely sure what Omnimon's plans were, but he did know that they somehow involved human Tamers.
"It's so hot and dry out here," Kamemon spoke once again to Ryuudamon. He was still walking alongside him, but his steps were becoming a bit more sluggish. He was starting to drag his left foot. I would kill for a nice glass of ice water, Kamemon complained to himself.
"Where do you think those Digieggs are anyway? How are we supposed to know when we find them?"

Honestly, Ryudamon didn’t understand why he was a part of this. Why SkullGreymon had sent him hear rather than keeping him on guard protecting his territory was beyond him, yet here he was. Not to mention the turtle digimon he was walking with sure seemed to talk quite a bit. “Dry? Yes. Much more than the jungle. Definitely,” the dinosaur-like digimon responded, nodding his head as he looked onward, continuing to walk without so much as a glance over toward Kamemon.
Well, truth be told Ryudamon likely would be able to deal with the heat and lack of humidity much better than his traveling companion. After all, it wasn’t as though he lived in the ocean! “Well...” hrm... he threw his head from side to side, taking the area in with each quick look over of the nearby terrain. Nothing exactly stood out, so it was hard to say. Plus, their orders hadn’t been very specific. All he knew was that they were supposed to find the things... not where they would be or how they were supposed to go about looking for them.
“Maybe... they’re buried in the ground here!” Ryudamon exclaimed, stopping in his tracks as he peered down at the ground beneath his feet. Almost immediately, he leaned down a bit and began to dig into the earth with his large claws. Furiously attempting to dig a hole so that he may uncover what it was that they were searching for. “If they’re eggs, they must look like eggs,” he remarked, still digging into the rocky ground.

Lilith’s large ears picked up the sound of other digimon. She ducked behind some rocks, watching the pair of them, and listening. When she heard htem speak of the eggs, she grinned, ooh this was just what she needed. Someone to do the work for her. Time to use some of her gatomon charm! She walked out from behind the rock, approaching the pair of them. “Hello there, I hear you are looking for the digi-eggs to? That’s perfect! Lady Persiamon sent me to help!” said Lilith with a smile.
Oh she was a great liar! It was so easy to be fooled by her, and these two surely would be no different. “Would you like to combine our efforts? We will surely find it faster that way.” she said, still smiling and seeming no different from any other digimon. And that was her plan, make them help her find the digi-eggs, then take them once found. Surely two rookies stood no chance against her, a champion level digimon.
“Though I don’t have much more information then you. Just that we need these ‘digi-egg’ things, though I cant imagine what they look like or where they might be hidden!” said Lilith as she chuckled and shook her head. “Would have been nice if we had more info about them wouldn’t it?” she asked as she looked around, where oh where could the eggs be?

Kamemon watched as Ryuudamon began to dig. It didn't sound like a bad idea, but for some reason Kamemon had a feeling that they wouldn't be underground. He felt that artifacts such as the digieggs would have to be in a more... spiritual place. But where would that be? He didn't seen anything else around them. So, with that, their best bet was simply digging here in the sand and trying to find the digieggs. They didn't really have anything else to do.
"But what are the chances the eggs are right here?" Kamemon asked. This area was actually really really big... and if they had to dig through the entire badlands to fight the eggs... well, that wouldn't be good. But just as he asked his question, he was somewhat interrupted by a Gatomon who joined them. Hopefully she would know some of the answers... though his first impressions of her were actually that she was quite talkative.
"Sure. You can work with us... but why didn't Persiamon just send you along with u-well, I guess it doesn't matter. You're here now. Thanks."

”Surely it makes little sense that not one of us is entirely sure of what we are searching for,” the digimon spoke aloud after hearing this new digimon’s story about how she too had been sent here to find the same things they were looking for. Sure enough, Ryudamon continued to dig his claws into the hole even as the conversation went on, he was more focused on the digging than who he was speaking to... or who was speaking to him... or who Kamemon was speaking to... whatever, locating the eggs was his priority.
The dinosaur-like digimon’s head suddenly shot up and he scanned the landscape, eyes squinted. Hmm...
Darting away from the two other digimon, he ran for a very brief span of time before stopping only a few meters away from where he had begun. Glaring at the ground beneath his clawed feet, Ryudamon drove his hands into the earth again, digging now in this area. Maybe it was here? It had to be here. If not here, then where else? It had to be somewhere! His only explanation was that it felt right... in his feet... to dig here...
Yeah... that didn’t make any sense whatsoever. Well, that’s what happens if you try to understand a dinosaur. “Well I say an egg’s and egg. If we’re looking for eggs, perhaps they’ll be in a nest.”

“Haha well I got the message a little late. I was tied up with other things when I got the message that she wanted me to join the hunt to find the digi-eggs so here I am!” she said as she continued to scan the area. “I will check from higher ground to see if I can find anything.” said Lilith as she leaped up on a high rock, looking around. This was a good vantage point, she could see her new ‘partners’ from here, as well as trying to spot something that looks like it could be a ‘digi-egg’.
Suddenly the dragon digimon ran off and started digging. Oh interesting. Lilith didn’t move from her spot, but she watched him like a hawk. If she saw any sign he found the eggs, she would have to be quick and take them from him. Hmm….thinking for a moment…they were called ‘eggs’ but maybe they weren’t really eggs at all? After all, eggs were fragile, and hatched into digimon. So unless these hatched into very special digimon like calumon, maybe it was just a term used for them…but then… what were they looking for?

Kamemon was a bit slow when it came to ideas in this little scavenger hunt. He really wasn't sure where to begin, though it seemed both Gatomon and Ryuudamon had their ideas. What was he to do though? This certainly wouldn't be easy. How would one find the eggs in a situation like this? Everything seemed so hopeless right now. There had to be a hint somewhere.
For lack of anything better to do, Kamemon stayed close to Ryuudamon. His claws weren't really made for digging, so he didn't help out much with that, plus, he was so thirsty and in need of moisture that his body was starting to fail him. Well, perhaps it was simply a situation of mind over matter, but right now, the matter was over the mind.
"Hrmmm... Maybe there are magic words or something... Open says-a-me," Kamemon said optimistically, but low and behold, nothing seemed to happen. He held his head down in shame. They weren't getting anywhere.

Ryudamon nodded at the feline’s suggestion, glancing up as she moved to higher ground as she said she was going to do. Good good, maybe it would help. But pfft, what would an egg be doing in the sky? Didn’t the little cat have any brains?!
Alright, this was hardly getting them anywhere, that is if they were even making any progress at all. But where to look, where to look?
The digimon peered upwards again and began to scan the area once again. There had to be something they were missing, but whatever it was, he didn’t have the slightest clue. “It was worth a try,” he nodded seriously to the turtle digimon before heading off again, abandoning his second, half-dug hole.
However, this time Ryudamon walked farther than he had previously, slower, yet for a much longer period of time. He was wandering quite aimlessly, without a clear idea of what he was looking for. In fact, the poor guy didn’t even have a vague idea of what he was looking for, though that was beside the point.
Yet when he soon happened upon a cave, the dinosaur digimon immediately halted. A suspicious cave... a suspicious cave... Yes, a suspicious cave indeed! And after only a few seconds of pondering, the digimon turned on his heel and made his way inside without a word. Treasures were sometimes found in caves! Hey, maybe if they didn’t find the eggs, they would at least find some sort of cool treasure-y thing!
