Henry hummed quietly as he walked down the beach Terriermon resting on his shoulder. The two had been at home bored on a day off from school and he had decided to visit the beach and take a look around. He had not been to the beach in a few months usually staying in town and going to some computer things that he needed. What bothered him was the news not showing anything about Digimon although they seemed to be popping up out of the woodwork anymore. Taking a breath he found a seat and stared at the water someone had to be controlling the news he thought as he ran his fingers over his D arc and shook his head at least it was quiet right now he thought as he stroked Terriermon’s head “how are you buddy?” he asked the rookie digimon softly his voice kind.
The two had been apart way to long and he had hoped that Terriermon had not got himself killed when he had gone back. The little rabbit digimon had a mouth that would have gotten himself in trouble. Now though he was back and that was all that mattered to him right now as he could keep an eye on the troublesome digimon. Taking a breath he sighed and looked at the water “may as well go for a swim Terriermon” he said and stood up. He had worn a bathing suit and a t shirt as he watched as Terriermon ran towards the waves to play around for a bit. They were mostly alone which was a good thing as that meant less trouble if things came to a fight. He could not see a fog which was always a plus when it came to Digimon. Frowning he looked down as his digivice started to beep and frowned “Terriermon get out of there” he called quickly.
Terriermon had just gotten down to the water and dove in before he came up. That was when he heard Henry calling to him and frowned “Henryyyyyy” he whined slightly “momenti” he said and rolled his eyes. It was probably just a human that he was worried about being seen. So far away he could not hear the beeping as he swam around in the water ignoring the calls of his tamer. He was such worry wart he thought as he frowned. Why would he not stop a human would have passed by a long time ago. That was when he smelled something and cursed a Digimon of course he thought and started towards the shore as quickly as he could possibly carry his small body. The sea had kept him from smelling the scent at first until the wind had changed and then hit him in the nose. He had to hurry he thought as he was almost to the shore but not close enough to stand up yet.

A large shadow came over the small rookie, stretching out to the shore as it grew larger the closer to the ground it descended. But what was this creature that had evaded the Terriermon's senses? What being could be stalking the beach as a mist began to slowly cross over the ocean? A cry soon answered that question, followed by the echo of beating wings. Then its appearance came into view.  Talons the size of a car, green feathers covering a body that could be compared to a building. This digimon was indeed huge, and the digital area could hardly contain and hide him from view. The Ultimate digimon hovered over the water, creating waves with each flap as it stared down towards its prey. While it was a small meal, it was better than having nothing. Course, the digimon would have to be dead first. Electricity pulsed through the metal plate that lined up along the upper part of it's beak. The sparks soon started to gather upon the surface of its tongue, turning to a orb-like shape within. Before long, it began to lean its head back as the energy grew larger in its mouth in till it was finally released. "Static Destroyer!!!" |

"Whatcha doin' Impmon?"
Impmon heard his tamer's voice as he walked along the edge of the beach, just out of reach of the waves that lapped at the shoreline. Of course, Mako was at home, speaking to him through his digivice. He and Ai too had a day off of school as well, but as always, it was rare he actually spent time with them since they were too young to go out on their own and whenever they were out they were near always accompanied by their parents or some other humans he couldn't show himself to.
Ahh, the downsides of having such young tamers. Just a few more years and they'd have a little more freedom to go out on their own. If he could introduce himself to Mako and Ai's parents things might push along better, but then again they probably wouldn't take too well with their six year old kids being friends with a guy like him. He wasn't no cuddly pineapple headed dinosaur or some cute puppy eared bunny rabbit. He was not confident that he'd be very well received.
"Just walking along the beach, on the watch for digimon appearing. Nothing too special." Impmon responded boredly as he looked down the beach. He paused when he noticed a human a considerable ways away. He approached cautiously until he could see that it was Henry and Terriermon playing in the water.
If he had time to think up a smart ass remark, he probably would have, but before he could deliver such a line, his fur shot on end as mist began to cover the beach and the sound of heavy wing beats could be heard. "Oh crud, its going to be a big one." Impmon grumbled. "Might want to digivolve for this one." He said as he looked up and saw the Parrotmon descend on them.
The second it became clear that Impmon was in trouble, Mako went into action, gathering up his and Ai's cards. "Ai, come over here. Impmons in a battle!" Mako told his sister, who had been playing with some of her toys in the same room. The second her brother mentioned Impmon and battle, she ran straight to her brother's side. "We're Impmon!" She said, as she and Mako a looked through their cards. Well, he wanted to digivolve, so using the digivice card was the thing to go with for now. "Digimodify! Digivolution activate!"
Impmon then began glowing brightly, his size increasing and his form changing. "Impmon digivolve to..." He called out as energy began pulsing through his body. Finally when the light cleared, his champion form was revealed, a large draconic demon like digimon. "Devidramon." He now was considerably larger, and though not quite as large the Parrotmon, he at least didn't look like a food pellet to him. Besides, size didn't really matter much, especially in regards to flying battles. Devidramon took the static destroyer attack, and his body felt numb for a few seconds as he withstood the blow, but he was still fine. Hurt like heck, but wasn't about to keel over from one attack. "I'll teach you to attack my friends! Polly want a CRIMSON CLAW?" He roared as he took flight and aimed a swipe at the Parrotmon from his red claws.

Henry stared as the fog started to come in and cursed under his breath “come on Terriermon” he called as he watched but it was to late. Soon a huge digimon came into view and his eyes went wide pointing his digivice at the creature he pulled up its info. Great a ultimate he thought “hurry up” he called as he watched the Digimon get an attack ready. Drawing his cards he was caught off as a attack was launched and he frowned looking around. That was when he saw Impmon and smiled “Impmon never thought I would say this but glad to see you” he said and watched as the Digimon digivolved and nodded drawing his cards he looked through them and picked out one as Terriermon got to shore. He would be at a big disadvantage in the water “Digi modify Digivice activate” he said as he watched as Terriermon began to glow brightly.
Terriermon’s eyes went wide as he saw what was coming “that is one big bird” he said as he rushed to the shore. The attack had come dangerously close to hitting him as he frowned “hey bird brain next time try and hit me” he said and smirked at him. Then he saw Impmon digivolve and smiled at the thought. Hearing his partner he barely had time to think before he felt energy surge through him “Terriermon digivolve to” he said as he grew bigger and gained his fire power that had become normal for him in this form “Gargomon!” he called out as the light faded. He stood there and smiled at the ultimate as he aimed his guns at the bird Digimon “Gargo laser!” he called out as lasers shot from the two guns on his wrists as he glanced around. He needed to get air born and his only options were his wings at the moment and even those would not be a good idea on a flying digimon he thought bitterly.
Watching Gargomon he knew he would need some ideas and quickly. His cards were still coming back together since he had mostly quit the card game for two years he had let his game slip and knew that it would take some work to get back where he needed to be. Staring at the two he paused and thought of something the two were needing some help right now and since Parrotmon’s attacks were lightning based using the water would not be a good thing not right now at least they needed to get the champion grounded he thought and watched to see what would happen next between the two. This was going to be a nasty fight but not one that could not be won in the end. Their was always hope that would pull them all through in the end…or at least so he hoped.

Parrotmon retreated somewhat after feeling the sting of the Devidramon's claws. But as he cried out in defience, the creature began to shriek as Gargomon joined the action with his own assault. It would seem that getting a meal would be harder than previously predicted. But this king of the skies was always up for a challenge, and this world had just become available to him. So he was in hurry to flee back to the other one.
Though with fighting two opponents, he would have to keep his attacks at a distance. As long as he remained in the sky, he would only have the demon digimon to deal with up close. The rabbit would have to stay on the ground, and he doubted that it could swim too well. So this fight was still in his control, and Parrotmon planned to keep it that way.
Flying higher into the air, the giant digimon reeled its head back once again, this time gathering electricity into the tips of the feathers that sat upon his head. Once this was done, he launched his neck forwards, sending a bolt of lightning towards Devidramon.
"Sonic Destroyer!!"

Devidramon once again was hit by the Sonic Destroyer attack and he lost altitude. The Parrotmon was now flying over the water. While it was no issue for him, Gargomon's flying abilities were minimal, and he acted more like a parachute in the sky. The wind was up, but he'd be risking falling in the water, and he didn't look too capable of swimming. That didn't mean the gun bunny was grounded though.
He landed on the beach. "Need a lift?" He said, scooping Gargomon up with his hand and sitting him on his shoulders. He then took flight again and and headed for the Parrotmon. "Dead eyes!" He hissed, as his eyes flashed at the Parrotmon, attempting to hypnotize it to leave it open for Gargomon's attack.

Henry watched the two as they went to fight and sighed they were at a big disadvantage when Terriermon was on the ground. Right now he wished that he had Rapidmon who was a good flyer instead of Gargomon who could float somewhat over the water. He had to figure out how to even this out a bit. The problem was solved though when he saw Devidramon make his move to Gargomon who got on “stay together and take him down” he said calmly. He hated killing but people would get hurt in the end which was a big problem in his book taking out a card he nodded as the two took to the air “Digi modify Green Power Bean activate” he said and watched his eyes on the battle in front of him.
Gargomon hopped on Devidramons back and got settled as the two took to the air his eyes on Parrotmon as Henry used the card he could feel the power come to his guns with Devidramon’s attack he aimed “Gargo Laser” he said as the laser shot the laser at the big bird “Devidramon try and keep him in a circle where he does not have much movement” he said calmly and fired again. This time he aimed at the ultimate digimon’s body as he did not want to let up. This could be a very nasty fight and that was not one that he wanted to lose. He could see the few humans that were on the beach and knew they would be hurt unless they could stop this over grown parrot “Gargo laser” he said and fired this time aiming for one of the bird digimon’s wings hoping to slow the big digimon down somewhat in the end.

((It's only one attack at a time Henry from now on. I'm going to allow it this time due to the fact that it's a first I've seen you do it. But you can only state one attack in each post...))
The barrage of laser fire caused the bird to descend close to the water, though it soon spread it's wings once more and began to ascend to the sky once again. Shaking off the Devidramon's hypnotic trance, Parrotmon made a swift turn around as it screeched loudly towards the two digimon. This dinner was started to interest him less and less. Especially since their powers had somehow increased. What was the cause of it? While he wasn't the smartest digimon, he knew that one of them had increased in strength somehow, he had the burns on his right wing to prove that.
But there was little time for him to think this through now. With one great flap, the Ultimate digimon launched itself towards Devidramon, extending it's claws as they sparked with another electrical current.

"That's a mean bird! Come on Devidramon, show him who's boss!" Mako encouraged his partner, while Ai went through her cards and pulled out her black gears card. "This will help you Devidramon! Digimodify, Black Gears activate!" Ai said as she swiped the card through her digivice.
Back at the beach, the black gear descended from the sky and lodged itself in Devidramon's back. Damn that smarts He thought as he recovered from the shock of the strike. However, the gear didn't do so much damage as it did him good. His power was now up to ultimate level, and since he was a virus type digimon, he did not receive the berserking effects that data and vaccine type digimon experienced when subjected to the gears.
Now the Parrotmon was going at him again, this time with claws sparking with electrical energy. Before the attack landed and threw his head up and launched Gargomon upwards off of him, so when the electrical attack landed, it didn't hurt the bunny. Devidramon howled in pain, but he withstood it, and took the chance to grab the Parrotmon. "Black bite!" He spat as he attempted to bite down on the bird's shoulder with poisonous fangs.

Gargomon was glad to see his attacks had done something and frowned as the bird Digimon came at them. It was then he suddenly found Devidramon throwing him in the air and he was confused for a moment before he snapped open his wings and started to glide and then he had an idea. Instead of heading for Devidramon when he saw Devidramon try and grab a hold of Parrotmon he shifted his weight and started down towards Parrotmon shooting a quick glance at Henry who nodded. The distance made it hard to see but he could have sworn that his tamer nodded as he went down towards Parrotmon aiming for the bird digimon’s back hoping to weigh it down and hopefully sink it into the water if not slow it down at least somewhat. Time was running out and he knew it the fact was that it made him as nervous as they came with things he just hoped that it would not be one mess up.
Henry reached into his cards and pulled out one that he hoped would work and slid it “digi modify expansion card activate!” he called and smiled.
Gargomon grinned as he began to grow bigger and bigger as he moved further down closer to Parrotmon. He didn’t attack this time instead focusing on getting on the bird digimon’s back where he would fire as soon as he landed and hope to get off a good shot that would end it once and for all before the cards failed them. He doubted they would be able to deal with a ultimate digimon as rookies they would be sitting sucks and then they would be data which was never a pleasurable feeling or so he had heard. Shaking his head he focused as he went after Parrotmon just praying to hit the mark “Gargo Laser” he said as quietly as possible and fired as he got closer to Parrotmon if needed he used one hand so he could grab on with the other if needed.
