No Fighting? [Invite]

Shana had come to the beach rather late at night. Shana was intently looking mat her digivice and waiting for some kind of digimon to bioemerge. Even though her ex-boyfriend had somewhat dampened her fighting spirit, there was no reason for her to stop patroling the town for potentially dangerous Digimon. It was always possible after all that wild digimon, if left unchecked, could cause a lot of trouble. They certainly had that potential.

"Shana-chan, I don't think we're going to find anything tonight," Aruraumon said wearily. The two of them had been walking for at least two hours, and it was already past midnight.. a couple hours past midnight in fact. Still, Shana seemed determined and had no intention of stopping soon.

"Well, I wanna find a Digimon!" She said stubbornly. "It's been almost a week, and we haven't seen anything other than Palmon!"

Yori had been using the weekends to take Loli out at night to play where she was less likely to be seen. She couldn’t do it much during the week because she needed to be well rested to get up for class, but she didn’t have class tomorrow so she told her parents she was going to Yura’s then headed to the beach. It wasn’t a complete lie, she would go over to Yura’s later she just wanted to let Loli see the beach first, then she would head over to her friend’s place.

“Yay! The beach! The beach!” shouted Loli as she ran into the water. “Don’t go too far Loli! And be careful of the waves!” called out Yori, she didn’t want her little digimon to get swept away by the ocean waves. But she smiled never the less while Loli played in the waves. If only they could come during the day…loli could play with the young kids in the water…it was too bad digimon had to be kept a secret.

Shana placed her Digivice back into her pocket. It had been much too long, and after all of this time, they hadn't found a single Digimon. It seemed that maybe Digimon weren't coming to the human world anymore. Not like they had been earlier. It was actually very depressing that Digimon weren't still coming by the truckload, even though she wasn't supposed to fight them much anymore if she had any hope for getting Marik back.

"Well... I guess it's time to go home," Shana finally said to Aruraumon who then sighed. She had been ready to go home for so long she could barely contain her happiness. However, after only a couple of steps in the direction back home, she found herself walking into Shana's back. Shana had stopped walking.

"Aruraumon! Look!" Shana said, pointing in the direction of the Lopmon who was playing in the water. It was dark, but she could clearly see that Lopmon. "It's a brown Terriermon!"

Aruraumon looked in the Digimon's direction, now seeing it clearly. She took a heavy gulp, now curious as to what Shana would do about it. Her question was soon answer as Shana ran in the direction of the Lopmon, stopping just short of the water. She didn't want to get wet. Aruraumon held her place just behind Shana.

"Hey! Terriermon!"

Loli was having so much fun playing, she had failed to sense the aruramon and her tamer coming near hear. Suddenly she heard the word ‘terriermon’ as her tars perked up a little and she turned to face the other digimon. “Eh? I’m not terriermon. I’m Loli! Loli the lopmon! You look like a palmon but…”” said Loli as she squinted her eyes a bit “You are a aruramon aren’t you?” said Loli as she smiled and walked out of the water towards Aruramon and waved. “Hi! before she could say anymore, Yori appeared running.

“Loli! What’s going on? Eh? Another digimon?” All of a sudden Yori was finding them everywhere! Where were all these digimon before she met Loli? Why was she meeting them all now? Did they only start showing up recently? “Um…hello there I am Yori Shikohojo. Um, its nice to meet you miss, and miss umm…palmon?” no it looked different from a palmon, and even though Yori knew many types of digimon, she didn’t recognize this one. She felt her digivice shake in her pocket however as she pulled it out, an image of the digimon before her appearing on it. “Aruramon? A Data vegetable digimon…it looks so much like a palmon though…” Yori hadn’t known these digivices did that, how neat!

Shana felt ashamed with herself after having been corrected. She knew very well what a Lopmon was. After all, she had seen all of the Digimon movies, and in the third Digimon movie, she had seen that boy, Willis, and his Lopmon. Though, what was probably throwing her off was the fact that this Lopmon's ears were different from what she remembered in that movie. In fact, it's ears were blue instead of pink. Perhaps that combined with the fact that it was so dark out were the reasons that she had mistaken the Digimon.

On the other hand, it seemed that they had recognized Aruraumon. Aruraumon raised her right hand to wave at the girl and her digimon upon introduction. Shana bowed a few degrees downward as her own introduction before standing up once again.

"I am Hitoehi Shana," she said to introduce herself to the girl. She would have introduced Aruraumon, but it seemed they already knew her name. Shana took a moment to look at the girl's digivice. Yep. She had one too.

"Ah... So you're a tamer too then... It's nice to meet you. Are you ready to fight?"

In the digital world Loli had known about terriermon, they looked similar to lopmon like her. Though she rarely met other lopmon, but had met terriermon before, but not many. They seemed pretty rare to. Though she actually couldn’t recall meeting another lopmon. “Yori! Look digimon!” said Loli as she smiled at her tamer and jumped up on her shoulder. “Ah! Loli you are all wet!” said Yori as Loli just smiled and patted her head. “Sorry sorry!” said Loli as she looked at the other digimon again. “Aaah and you are covered in sand! Geez you are getting a bath when we get to Yu-chan’s!” said Yori before shaking her head and looking Shana. “ Nice to meet you Hitoehi-san” said Yori as she knelt her head a bit.

When the other girl confirmed Yori as a tamer then asked to fight, Yori took a step back, her face looking shocked. “Eh? Fight you? Why would I do that? I don’t want to fight!” said Yori, she didn’t want to risk Loli getting hurt…or losing her. She didn’t want Loli to ever leave…

Aruraumon had anticipated Shana's proposal, though she had wondered if Shana would still ask for such a thing after what had happened between herself and Marik already. It didn't seem like fighting would be such a good idea at a time like this if she was concerned about changing herself to win back Marik's love. Aruraumon looked at Shana nervously.

"But, Shana-chan, isn't that why Marik broke up wi-," Aruraumon stopped in mid-sentence. She couldn't believe that she was about to bring it up again. Shana had been crying about it straight for days and now she seemed to have finally moved on just a bit, and there Aruraumon had just brought it up again. She felt so stupid.

"Argh!" Shana stomped her foot on the ground hard. She was now feeling much more frustrated than only moments before. With a deep breath, she forced herself to calm down, though doing so was hard. She then turned to Yayoi, much more calm again.

"Well, we're both tamers. We have to fight so that we can become stronger. That's what Digimon are for, get it? Don't worry, I probably won't destroy Lopmon."

Loli perked up her ears curiously when Aruraumon began to mention a breakup. Oooh interesting! Yori however frowned at Shana’s mini tantrum. “No, that is not what digimon are for.” said Yori as she frowned at Shana and crossed her arms. “They are alive, they have minds of their own. They are not just puppets to be manipulated as you see fit!” Yori wasn’t going to put Loli in danger just to entertain this child.

“If you want to fight go find someone else. Because I will not participate in your sick game. Loli is my friend, I wont risk her well being to please a child.” well this was something new, it was very rare for Yori to talk like this. But, the thought of Loli being deleted simply so this kid could have a bit of fun made her angry, and act out of character.

"I was trying to be nice!" Shana retaliated quickly, stomping her feet once more. She didn't want to have a bad relationship with this other tamer, but for goodness gracious, they two of them were both tamers, and getting stronger was what was expected of them. If they didn't fight and practice to get stronger, Shana knew a bigger Digimon would soon take the lives of their partners. That was one of the reasons she was so driven to fight. Though, the truth which both Shana and Aruraumon knew was that Shana never once treated Aruraumon entirely like a puppet. Shana too, was willing to risk her life whenever they did battle, and she fought just as much as her Digimon did. Shana was not afraid to fight.

SLAP! Wasting no time, Shana swiftly slapped her right hand across Yayoi's face as hard as she could. Maybe this would help Yayoi get the point. Shana had no intention of backing down. She was going to get her fight, and she was going to get stronger, for herself and Aruraumon. Following up, she quickly pushed her weight forward, hoping to bring Yayoi down to the ground with her, where, if successfuly, she would proceed to straddle her into a lock and continue punching her.

"You're so stupid! Don't you get it?!"

“No you were not! You were being demanding like a spoiled child!” wasn’t it bad enough that Mei acted like a spoiled brat all the time? Yori really didn’t need to deal with ANOTHER one! Loli frowned, she didn’t like where this was going…this girl was too hot headed….Suddenly however, Yori felt a slap across her face. She didn’t react right away because she was so shocked this kid actually slapped her. And Loli wasted no time in jumping to her tamer’s defense. “Blazing Fire!” shouted Loli as she shot a blue flame at Shana.

“Back off! Don’t you dare touch Yori you brat!” well now that was just as much of a shocker as Yori’s reaction earlier. Loli didn’t often use terms like that. But the little digimon stood before her tamer with determination on her eyes. Yori glared at her and got up, rubbing her cheek as she stepped in from of Loli. “No Loli. We will not fight. We wont let this child get her way.” said Yori as loli gave her a ‘are you serious?’ look.
