Renee sighed quietly. Still anyone failed to see wisdom in her words. Maybe it was something wrong with her, that no one takes seriously whatever advice she gave, even if it was as generic and tried by time like "Learning from one's mistakes". Oh well, maybe she should really stop bothering. And only see how things develop on their own. Time will tell if she was right or wrong, it always did.
She did not mind the Dorumon to quench his hunger by eating the bucket of berries. He must have not eaten properly for a whole week, should be really hungry. And it's not like Lillymon couldn't grow more of them with a whim of her will. With her magical affinity to plants, berries could grow within days, hours even. So they were never hungry there. Without such abilities, and extensive knowledge, it was hard to support a garden in the woods...
However when she heard the bucket drop and a vicious growl from behind, she stopped as well. If she did not have her hands full at the moment, she would have face-palmed to it too. It seems she unintentionally hit some sort of a ridiculous painful spot, which all of a sudden caused so much anger. It did not seem very appropriate to her, however. She was only trying to bring some comfort, not to argue semantics. And she would not stand for this.
- Tamer, partner, that-girl-with-cards, friend, slaver, overseer... Whatever floats the boat. I apologize for choosing a wrong word. But I think it was obvious I meant no ill intent behind it. Given that... - Renee suddenly stopped talking for a bit, half turning her head and giving the dorumon a somewhat unfriendly glare. - ... I don't think I deserved being growled at. Control yourself. - her voice sounded somewhat cold, as she picked the bucket the dorumon dropped and continued her way into the forest.
She was just being nice, and did not appreciate making a fuss over one dumb word, whatever the reasons would be. She may have been nice now, but her own pride and self-esteem did not go anywhere, she demanded to be treated with respect. She understood the dorumon may have had hard time and all, but she did not view it as an excuse for snapping at her like this. His emotional roller-coasters were his own problem, she would help dealing with it, if she can, but it did not mean she'd take such things lightly...
