Dorumon had a similar idea in mind, with using a checkpoint, and not bringing Renee to meet her right away, but he wasn't sure about the rest, especially the lying. Amber would only get even worse if she found out he was lying to her, even over something as trivial as where the food came from. He wouldn't blame her either. Lying about one thing brought into question everything they ever said. "I can't lie to Amber and risk her finding out. As I said, she has difficulty trusting others, and lies have a way of slipping through the cracks no matter how much you try and cover them up."
"While I definitely don't think its a good idea to approach her immediately, I would like to tell her about you and maybe suggest meeting you later on. I think it could help her to know some other good digimon. I've been trying to make friends and make her see that the universe isn't made up of overzealous Lunamon, but the digimon I run into are either too hostile to give a crap or too afraid to do anything but try and kill me." Dorumon explained. He hoped Renee agreed to the idea. He didn't think he'd ever find any other friendly digimon that weren't obsessed with shoving their ridiculous ideals down his and Amber's throat.

- Your choice. After all, you know her better than I do. And lies indeed have a tendency to be revealed ... with most disastrous results. - Renee nodded. She knew it was true from personal experience - she tried hiding something, it failed, and she was forced here. Her partner tried hiding something, it came right back at him and endangered him greatly. Lies should be avoided, unless there is no other choice...
- I ... I'd be looking forward to meeting her... someday. I'd give you some advice om how to deal with this ... if I had any experience of dealing with such troubles. Unfortunately here neither my wit nor strength is useful. So I'll help with what I can. Tomorrow, same time, I'll bring what you need here. Until then, farewell... - Renee replied, turning around and going back into the forest. She had things to do, and dorumon, surely, too. So there was no time to waste both their times. But before she'd go...
- I'd seek advice of someone who knows how to deal with such things though, were I you. Tis only a matter of finding such person... - she added and disappeared into the shadows, her immage blurry until faded out quite completely...

"Farewell Renee, and thank you again." He said, turning to make his own exit. Then the Youkomon stopped again, and gave him one more bit of advice before disappearing into the forest. Dorumon frowned. Advice from someone who knows how to deal with such things? Where was he supposed to find someone like that? Humans were hardly an option, if he sent a human to her, Amber would call betrayal on him in a heartbeat. Finding a digimon who knew how to deal with humans like Amber was even less likely to happen. This was frustrating. He couldn't juggle clinging to Amber's trust and helping her get better! His tail flicked in irritation as he stalked off back to his den.
