Impmon's attack missed... again! The thing was getting annoying. Then the Flybeemon began hitting his chestplate, and Impmon was left a bit confused. However, from what Fanbeemon said, it seemed he was looking for a one on one battle. "You sure about this pipsqueak?" He questioned. The little bee digimon however, seemed quite content with this proposition, and annoyed as he was with being left out of the battle, he wasn't going to stick his help where it wasn't wanted.
"Hey Ai! Impmon's in battle!" Mako's voice rang in Impmon's head suddenly.
Impmon resisted the urge to groan by his tamer's late response. It wasn't his fault. He and Ai were hardly looking at their digivice all the time, but Impmon still felt a bit annoyed that he hadn't gotten help when he needed it. "Nah, kid, This is some other digimon's fight. Though, if you could drop me a wizardmon's spell that would be great." Impmon muttered as he moved to stand over the boy.
"Aww ok. Digimodify, Wizardmon's spell activate!" Mako said, swiping the wizardmon's spell card.
Moments after Mako swiped the card, a barrier formed, surrounding Impmon and the human. That would ensure the flybeemon did not dishonor fanbeemon's terms for a while, but since the kid was knocked out, he didn't really have much else to do, but watch the two bees fight it out.
Name: Wizardmon's Spell Duration: 3 Posts Color: Gold Effect: Creates barrier around the digimon modified by this card which can easily withstand up to a Champion Level Attack. The radius of this barrier is variable. This barrier protects all those inside from all outside attacks, but also prevents those on the inside from attacking as well. If attacked by an Ultimate Level Attack, the shield is shattered but it defends that one attack. If attacked by a Mega Level or higher, the shield is not strong enough to defend.

Fanbeemon's attack was a bit unexpected, the red wasp didn't manage to completely evade the attack, the electric sting came dangerously close to the side, making damage with an electrical surge, which came through the wasp's body. However, it still had lots of fight in him - he was an armor type for a reason, possessing greater toughness and resilience.
- I will zzzzmite you! - the wasp buzzed out, launching itself against the fanbeemon, seemingly wanting to go melee again, but, suddenly, midway, made an almost impossible flight-figure, which would have confused anyone with it's suddenness and would have made targeting practically impossible, before suddenly stopping, and launching a poison sting at the fanbeemon at close range, without announcing the attack like he usually did before...

Another hit! True, it wasnt as direct as the first, but to get two hits on such an anoyingly fast digimon is a great feat. Fan beemon still didnt stop though. The attack didnt do much damgde bye the looks of things. The red wasp was coming in fast. Fanbeemon was waiting and ready to gaurd, but then the flybeemon moved in such a random patern. The orange bee didnt know what to do, Flybeemon was already on him. He tried to parry the stinger with no provail. The Poison Sting attack had made contact and Fanbeemon dropped from the sky.
This was it, Fanbeemon was hurtling to the ground, to weak to fight. An attack from a champion was just to powerfull and without a tamer to help him. "so thats all you got. Beaten by a singal attack. You were never worthy of protecting the royal base. you shall never know how true power feels." Fanbeemons eyes suddenly opened. "The hell with that!" stated Fanbeemon, taking flight and soaring into the air, only centermeters from certin death. He flew over the Wizardmons shield, "Hold on Impmon, it'll be over soon." and with that he flew upto flybeemons level to strike. "bye the honour of the Royal Base, you shall DIE! CLAW SLICE"

Impmon could only stand and watch the Fanbeemon and Flybeemon duke it out between eachother. He still wasn't getting what this royal base thing was. Was he some sort of knight from some kingdom in the digital world? Impmon shrugged away the curiousity though. He didn't particularly care that much about the Fanbeemon's origins, he just hoped this battle would be over so he could be on his way. "I ain't going no where with this barrier up anyways, so take whatever time you need." He responded.
He then turned to the still unconscious boy. Well, he might as well check on him. The Impmon bent over him, and looked him over. He seemed to have a bit of a lump on his head, and he was still out cold. That, might not be good. "Hey, kid. Wake up." He said, poking his shoulder.

- Die, trezzzpazzzer! - the flybeemon replied in unison with his opponent, flying straight at him, as they charged upon each other. The wasp figured that in one-on-one fight, he was stronger, being a champion, while the enemy was a mere rookie. And he could take a hit or two more before endangering himself. The fanbeemon looked furious, as it flied at him, wishing to slash apart with claws. Flybeemon didn't back off...
- Dzzzzt! - the wasp buzzed out, as two sharp claws left an "X" - shaped slash on the chest plate. It was more of a scar, the plate did not quite get penetrated, but it hurt still. The pain wasn't going to stop Flybeemon though, as after that attack, the wasp was now effectively inside the fanbeemon's guard.
- Dezzzztroy! - the vicious wasp exclaimed, starting launching one blow upon another with his hands, aiming at the head of the fanbeemon, and occasionally trying to grab an antenna or pound the eye out, big eyes being a weakspot, or just bluntly pounder the hell out of the overconfident bee who dared protecting trespassers...

Impmons atempts to wake the unconscious boy was futiel, he was out colder then a tomb stone in the snow. he proably be sleeping through this whole fight easy. Which is proably better of, seeing two giant mutant bees fighting above him would probably make his Apiphobia that much worse.
Fanbeemon on the other hand was taking a beeting, this wasnt the best situation hes ever been in. He was getting weaker with each hit, and the poison was not helping one bit. It was taking all of his energy to stay up. THere wasnt much he could do, but get even closer! Without warning, Fanbeemon grabbed Flybeemon with his claws, then rammed his head into Flybeemons chest, right on the cross shaped scar. "You shall not win by the honour of the royal base!" and through grited teeth came the words, "SHOCKING BLASTER! This is all or nothing...

Impmon crossed his arms as he looked down at the human kid. He wasn't waking up, and if he couldn't, well, helping him might get a bit complicated. They could hardly just walk up to someone and ask for help. Well, right now, problem number uno was that flybeemon. Right now, it looked like fanbeemon was taking a kicking. He knew they wanted a one on one battle, but it seemed if things kept up like this, he'd end up having to step in to save the little bug. For now though, he was still stuck within the shield.

So the fanbeemon decided to keep tackling in close quarters. Bad idea, considering the fact flybeemon was still stronger, and tougher. He allowed the enemy bee grab him by the limbs, and while that ramming move was painful enough, attacking the weakened spot in his hard shell, the wasp could still keep fighting. Less could be said about his opponent, who was barely holding flight. So who grabbed whom?
- I am zzzztronger, trezzzzpazzzer. Royal bazzze won't zzzave you. - the wasp buzzed out and closed his hands in a lock behind the fanbeemon, from afar it looked a bit like ... hugging, but it was not. Neither was able to hit one another this time, but the wasp didn't plan doing that. Instead, it took flight towards the ground, meaning to smash the bee against it...

The poison was taking over, loosing sight, loosing strengh, loosing all hope of victory. Once agein Flybeemon was nose diving into the floor, and soon it will all be over. Fanbeemon wasnt giving up, he wasnt loosing hope. He was accepting the end with open arms. All he could do was help Impmon as much as he could. "Huh, Good bye, worthy foe." and with that he aimed one more Blast of electricity at the Flybeemons chest. "Electro Shocker..."

The two bugs still continued to go at it, attacks flying here there and everywhere, while Impmon less than patiently waited for Wizardmon's spell to disperse. Fortunately for him, it did just that, that barrier vanishing around him and the Imp was now free to help the now struggling Fanbeemon. While the two bees went after eachother, Impmon climbed up a tree, putting himself above the two battling digimon.
Meanwhile Mako and Ai were watching the battle through their digivice. Their wizardmon's spell had faded out, and now they could see their partner climbing up a tree. "Are you gonna fight now Impmon?" Ai asked. Hadn't he said it wasn't his fight? Her partner however, hummed "uh huh" under his breath. Well, that Flybeemon was still a champion level... Ai pulled out a card to help Impmon. "Digimodify! Evil Chip activate!"
Impmon felt a sudden burst in strength. He watched the two digimon struggle below him. The Flybeemon had his back to him, and with his attention on Fanbeemon it was doubtful that the Flybeemon would see him coming. Impmon then leaped from his branch, aiming to land on the Flybeemon's back. Once he landed, on the enemy digimon, he'd blast the back of his head with a ba boom attack.
Name: Evil Chip Duration: 1 Post Color: Yellow Effect: If the type of a digimon modified by this card is Virus, they will gain the power of an 'Ultimate' level digimon for the duration of the effect.
