Taylor smiled as she hit the Digimon and then saw the attack from Elecmon but then he sank to the ground and she frowned wishing that she could do more. As she watched the fighting began she smiled “Elecmon can you get up?” she whispered “now is your chance” she said quietly to her digimon. She didn’t know if he would be able to and her hand rested on a card that she looked over just in case she paused as she watched them. They would have to move quickly she thought as she watched Elecmon struggle to stand but he gave her a nod he would try as he struggled to his feet she stayed quiet her eyes on the digimon. This would be their chance maybe the only one that they would get if they were lucky that they would even get that far. She nodded as he slowly stretched out sore from head to foot from the attack. The fact was that he was winning her heart over quickly with his courage and he had helped her without even knowing her.

Elecmon slowly stood feeling everything in her bones was in pain right now as she stared at the dinosaur digimon. One chance and one shot she thought as he moved in barely holding in the pain as she moved in as quickly as her sore body could make him. The arms were up and she saw what he needed the stomach not guarded she thought a smile coming to her face as he charged quickly “lightning knife” she said over and over and started throwing the knives at the digimon’s stomach as fast as she could. she knew that she would likely only have one shot at this and wanted to use it. He would not make another attack he thought his body alone right now was threatening to give out on him but he would not give up… his tamer even in a short amount of time had shown great care for her and that had made a difference in this battle…she refused to fail the little girl even if it meant the end of her she would not let her down.

Reaching down Taylor picked up her digivice and the cards she had dropped her hand running over the three as she took a breath. She was ready if it was needed though she was not sure which one to pick. Sighing she whispered “come on Elecmon you can do it” she said quietly as she watched the two she moved away from the building keeping an eye on the two digimon. She would be lucky to get out of here alive and she knew it in the end as she watched Elecmon charge and attack with whatever he had left she paused and bit her lip “here we go” she muttered praying for a miracle to happen right now as she stared at the three headed beast in front of her.

With his two heads trying to rip off the third, Elecmon chose a good time to attack the already downed Deltamon. The knives hit his stomach right where a belly button would have been, which made Deltamon cringe in pain. Part of his tail was beginning to break up into data as the dinosaur Digimon rose to the standing position. This fight was taking longer that any of the heads had expected it to. He needed to either fight back with more power or flee for it's life, but something needed to be done soon or this would be over.

"I am going to destroy you and your human, you little rodent. Triple Force!" Another blast came from it's three heads even with the lightning knives still raining down on him. He would not perish without taking his enemy with him. This was the final assault shoot out between the two of them with hopefully both of them dying from the amount of energy they were using in the process of doing it.

Elecmon moved quickly jumping above the attack as the metal faded and looked back Taylor had run as soon as he opened her mouth smart girl he thought as she concentrated “lightning knives” she yelled as the knives began to rain down again at the champion digimon. By now seeing his tail vanish a smile came to her lips “hey Lizard brains your tail is gone” she teased even though she cringed as he landed again his legs starting to buckle under her as he stared at the digimon “sparking strike!” she yelled and sent the next blast at the digimon. Right now she tried to remain focused wanting to get a hold of the digimon’s data. they had put up a good fight and hoped that it would make him stronger in the long run “lightning knives” she said and sent a last shower down just for good measure to make sure that this would hopefully be it in the end if he was lucky.

Taylor watched quietly her eyes wide as her hand over her mouth as she moved quickly and hid somewhere where she could still watch but to be safe. She had already seen a attack get way to close and this scared her. The only person she liked right now was Elecmon who looked exhausted and wanted to just get the Digimon home where it would be safe and warm. Forget the fact that this had happened even though she had no idea what she would tell her parents when they saw Elecmon that was something that she would worry about that if and when she got home. Now she just wanted to lay down and get some rest if that was even possible. She was sure that she would have nightmares for a long time to come of Deltamon and his three headed attack. A small shudder ran through her young body as she watched carefully pocketing the cards and D arc hoping that she would not have to use them again.

Elecmon's attacks were ineffective individually, but in combination with one another and the locations that they were hitting was having the right effect. It's right arm disappeared first, which meant that it's main attack was gone. Now all it could do was try and take a bite out of the girl before it literally came apart in front of them. It probably had only seconds before deletion was completed, so it began to move towards the two that it had been fighting with such vigor. "If I die, then so shall your human playmate. Serpent Strike" The left arm moved with such speed that Deltamon wondered why it hadn't been able to move like that earlier.

As the arm reached them, Deltamon cried out in pain. "Noooooo!!!! I am so close." The open jaw was right above them and beginning to drop when the most horrible thing happened to the Dinosaur Digimon. It shattered like glass that was dropped from a ten story building. The vicious Deltamon was finally destroyed, and it only took about twenty hits and one upgrade card for the young new tamer to beat it into oblivion.

Elecmon closed his eyes and slowly sank to the ground after he had absorbed the data and closed his eyes feeling exaustion get to him “its over” he said quietly and slowly walked over to Taylor who met him half way and scooped him up and held him close “you did awesome” she said and kissed his forehead. The digimon snuggled against his tamer as she walked home “no more dino’s will bother us” she said and smiled down at him as she walked home. The fog around her was lifting as she sighed “my name is Taylor Elecmon it is nice to have you as a partner” she said and smiled softly as she walked towards her home. Her hnnd stroked his fur slowly and sighed “we will be good together” she assured him as she looked around. She had made mistakes and she knew it from when she had been watching but she would see what she could work on.

The two had a long way to go to be perfect but they would make due given time she thought. She was glad to see that she had not wandered to far from home though she was sure that she would be in trouble once she did get home. Brushing her hair from her eyes she looked down and noticed Elecmon had gone to sleep in her arms she smiled down at him. This was the start of something special and she knew it as long as they were together she would make sure that they were okay in the end because she didn’t want to lose her new friend ever…when she had seen her jump in front of an attack it had warmed her young heart to see that someone cared.
