- Kid, you already told me everything you wanted to tell me. Tis just a matter of fishing out what you don't want to tell me. Look at the walls... - he pointed at the jagged clawmarks. It was easy enough to see what kind of a claw did it. But it was irrelevant, he knew who did it, his hunches proved correct, and the kid sure as hell knew what he was talking about too - even if he did not wish to spill the beans. There was really no point in sticking around.
- Anyhow, speaking of weird sh*t, I think we both know what we speak of. But what we know and what we say are two different things, get it? So when I say a nutsy burglar did it, you say a nutsy burglar did it. You will say it to me, to your parents, to anybody else who needs to know. Do it, and everything would be hunky-dory, peachy keen, fine and dandy. For you. As for me, I had seen and heard enough... - Larry said and hid the papers in the inner pockets of his coat once more.
- Weird sh*t tried to kill you. And you will do yourself a favor by staying as far away from it as possible... Am I clear? - Larry tossed, as he slowly went down the stairs...

The man had a point. Damn him. He was good, always managing to turn it back around on him. "Crystal" The teenager said, following the man down the stairs and towards the door. 'Mr. Smith' knew what happened, possibly knew more about it than him, but the teenager couldn't do anything to get the man to blab, about anything.
"And what happens if a 'burglar' appears again? I doubt hitting it would do me much good" He would not mention Lucemon...he had been fighting Devimon before they arrived, so, theoretically they could have destroyed each other, so next time he, or any other malicious digimon, appears he and Lucemon could, theoretically, defeat it.
"And I doubt my parents would let me have an assault rifle or anything heavy duty."

- First and the only rule, kid. DON'T look for trouble yourself, and I'm pretty sure it won't find you. If it does, however, run. Just run. Trouble can come in all shapes and sizes, it may look evil or benevolent, but it's ALWAYS trouble. Stay away, keep quiet, and you'll be good. - Larry shrugged as he stopped at the door and opened it. The kid was compliant, that was good. But still, they'd be watching him, just in case.
- Oh, and one more thing - don't dig. Just don't. All diggers I know didn't end up well, trouble found them first. Just leave it at that and forget about it like a bad dream... - he tossed one last remark before leaving, and closing the door behind. His mission here was done, now he had to ge back to HQ and await further orders...

That wasn't true - all digimon weren't bad - he considered Lucemon a sort of friend. Digimon may be from another world, and may possess abilities that are immense to mankind, but they themselves aren't evil as a species. "Yeah, alright" Kyle said, just agreeing with the man - Mr Smith was coming on very strongly about this, so it's best to just agree.
Again when the man went on about digging the teenager just nodded, placating the man. He was kinda scary in his zeal about this topic... Kyle was happy to see him go, and actually breathed a sigh of relief as he left the hall and went to free Lucemon from the closet. They would have to keep an eye out, just incase this man didn't let things lie.
