Impmon stayed there, stuck staring at the wall. Timed like this he missed just being on his own without having to worry about upsetting anyone important. But that thought was only a brief thought brought on only by his rather miserable situation. He'd never actually leave Ai and Mako again. Sure it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine, but it was still nice to have someone to really care about. He could never trade it away.
He looked down at Salamon, with half a mind to kick the little puppy faced feline. Of course, that would likely just end up getting him in deeper trouble, and well, she was Jeri's partner. "Oh just admiring the texture of the wall." he muttered dully. Had it been ten minutes yet? Jeez time seemed to slow down when you were doing absolutely nothing. "Me and Lopmon ran into a Raremon the other day that was after Calumon. Jeri ran into another digimon that wanted Calumon too right?" Impmon recalled from his encounter with Jeri at Yosuba Land. "Seems to me the creampuff is getting a bit too popular again."
"Impmon was being a bad boy." Ai informed Jeri when she asked why he was staring at the wall. "So he's getting a time out." She then sat down on a bench beside her brother, watching what was going on. They knew they were talking about the bad digimon that were popping up, but they were too young to really figure things out.

Well, at least Rika didn't seem too angry. Things could have been a bit worse he supposed. He joined the rest of the group, and soon Jeri was here too. "Hey Jeri! Glad you made it!" Takato called to her, smiling. "Eh, Impmon and Guilmon got a little out of hand." He said, with a sheepish laugh. Pfft. Experienced tamer and he still couldn't keep a leash on his own digimon!
With just about everyone there, Rika had begun the meeting. Impmon through his two cents in, and he had to agree. Calumon was getting popular again and that could never be good. "Who wouldn't want Calumon..." said Takato. "Last time there were digimon after Calumon though, they were all part of the same group." The only digimon they encountered in the past that wanted Calumon were the Devas. Could the digimon that have been attacking recently been working together?

Jeri blinked as she looked towards Ai, then smiling as she nodded towards the younger girl as she knelt down to Impmon's level as she watched the young tamer sit beside her brother. The two were the youngest of the group, so they probably didn't have much knowledge on the events that happened within the digital world. Which she thought was for the best, even she really didn't think about it as much as she had. The girl had forgiven the digimon, and could see that he was indeed doing what he could to be the best digimon for them.
"Oh really?....Well then I guess you do need to be here then..."
Smiling towards the imp, the girl then stood up as she heard Takato voice. Waving towards him as she walked up to him, the young girl giggled as she heard him explain that Guilmon and Impmon had got a little out of hand. Well, considering what she had heard and seen, that wasn't too much of a surprise. But then, Impmon was somewhat of an instigator. It was simply in his nature to be mischievous, but he wasn't all bad.
Turning her attention to Kazu as he addressed her next, she continued to smile as she looked towards Salamon as she seemed to be poking at Impmon with paw in till she heard her name being call. From there, the digimon ran up to the girl's side, grinning as stood next to Jeri's leg.
"This is Salamon...."
But pushing all that aside, Jeri placed her full attention towards Rika and Henry, listening to them as they began to explain what this meeting was about. It seemed that everyone had been hearing or running into digimon that were looking for Calumon, which worried her since she knew that Calumon was somewhat defenseless on his own. But why were all these digimon coming after him? None that she met had been clear on their reasons.
"You don't think the Devas are back do you?"
Staring up towards Takato with a concerned look on her face, she held one hand close to her heart as she began to think of what the small digimon could be doing? She owed him so much, and didn't want anything to happen to him.

Henry had been right about the fact that it took a while for some people to show up, but then again, there weren't that many of them that needed to show up. Kazu's mind left that topic as Henry asked Rika about the reason for this entire meeting. This was something that interested him as well, so he decided that now was a pretty good time to keep quiet. She had said that they needed to get to the bottom of these Digimon appearances. "You got that right." he muttered to himself.
Impmon and Takato's comments both brought up new questions for them to answer, but it was Jeri's question that really got him thinking. "I don't think so Jeri. These Digimon didn't sound like they worked for the Digimon Sovereigns. Besides, I don't think LadyDevimon can be considered a Deva even if she paid the whole Digital World a trillion dollars." The fact that they were probably not Devas did not exclude the idea that they were connected with each other. Calumon may attract a certain crowd of girls at random, but no Digimon just showed up asking for the little guy without some sort of reason.
Hagurumon was right next to Kazu watching the entire proceeding going on. It was interesting to watch the tamers try to figure out this new dilemna, but one of his gears must have been kicked into overdrive as a though occurred to him. "Don't forget to mention that the crazy witch as you called her said something about other business here besides Calumon." The mechanized Digimon felt very proud of himself for producing what he thought was vital information to the topic at hand. Only time would tell if he was correct.

”Other business aside from wanting Calumon? What do you mean?” the teenager questioned both the digimon who had spoken up about it, as well as his tamer. It was strange hearing about all of these things that had begun to happen recently, he himself had only witnessed a few odd occurrences that had happened within the past couple weeks. But there was no doubt in his mind that the events beginning to unfold had something to do with the Digital World. Otherwise, none of this would be happening, again, and Terriermon wouldn’t be back here with him.
The white and green colored digimon jumped up and onto Henry again, draping his ears over the human’s shoulders. Honestly, he didn’t have any clue as to why he had emerged in the human world once again, only that he was excited that he had been able to. What? It was just a lot more fun here, that’s all. “Well don’t ask me. I don’t know anything,” Terriermon shrugged, though he was definitely curious to find out the real reasons why all of this was happening again.

Things were certainly getting complicated for the group now. Figuring out what was going on was near impossible. Digimon were coming to the human world left and right, and it didn't really seem that there was much of a way to stop them. The only positive for them was that at least the good Digimon were returning to the human world as well and seemed to be finding their tamers. In addition, it seemed that many more tractable Digimon were appearing as well, and those ones seemed to be finding tamers. There had to be a reason for that as well.
"Well, I don't know much about what these Digimon are after aside from Calumon," Rika said, now clenching her fists a little. She wished that she could have a little bit more knowledge about what was going on, but she knew absolutely nothing at all about this, and she couldn't figure out where to start.
"All I know is that if we don't do something soon, Digimon will keep appearing in the human world, and innocent people are going to get hurt. We have to fight this at the root. That's the only way to stop this. Otherwise, evil Digimon will keep appearing."

Impmon listened to what the others had to say. He wasn't sure about wanting something other than Calumon, though it was possible. Calumon granted the power to digivolve, and they might want Calumon's power to use for something else. Hmm... "Can I stop looking at this wall?" Impmon moaned. "Please?" He added quickly. "Okay, but you have to be good!" Ai warned. Impmon let out a sigh of relief and walked away from the wall to join the rest.
He looked to Rika when she suggested fighting it at the root. The root? Impmon racked his brain trying to understand what she was suggesting. His eyes widened when he realized what she had meant. "You aren't suggesting we go to the digital world?" Impmon said shocked. "Is that such a good idea? We aren't as strong as we used to be."

Takato considered Hagurumon's suggestion, but couldn't come up with an answer. If someone wanted Calumon for something, it could be anything. When Rika suggested taking care of the problem at the root, Takato at first lit up, eager for a new adventure. Then Impmon spoke up, and made him realize that it might not be such a good idea to rush in. "That is a point. We don't know what's going on there. Maybe we should wait and see if we can run into a digimon that can tell us what's happening."

Jeri just stood there silently, listening to the others as they spoke about possible suggestions. From what Kazu had said, it made since to believe that the Devas were in no way involved in this. But then, who was after Calumon? No one had clearly stated what was going on or why they needed the small digimon. But it was clear that something had to be done. Of course, Jeri was all for helping Calumon, but at the mention of returning to the digital world, the girl's eyes widened.
Going back......
Images flashed through her mind, and they had been enough to make her close her eyes and swiftly open them to see she was still at Rika's house. Jeri was terrified. She didn't want to go back to that place, she didn't even want to remember it. But it seemed that it might be the one option they had. While Takato and Impmon talked about not being so quick to just jump back into the world, it did make sense to go there to see the problem themselves. But still, could she manage to even get herself to go?

Henry's question brought up the fact that Kazu had let LadyDevimon get away, which he didn't feel so proud about. "That I don't know. She bolted after Calumon helped Hagurumon and this girl's Lopmon digivolve to the point that we stood a chance of beating her." This whole situation was not becoming any more clear to him even with everyone inputing in on it. His brain really hurt from all the different ideas that were coming into it. Kazu didn't think that his mind could process this much information in this short amount of time.
At the root? Rika doesn't mean.....Oh yes she does. Kazu already knew that Rika wanted them to go back to the Digital world, and he knew that he wanted to go for so many reasons. Takato and Impmon both chimed in to say that maybe they should wait to learn more information. This sounded smart, but this group was not known for doing smart things like going to the Digital World to save Calumon from the Devas or taking on the D-Reaper even though it had kicked their butts so many times.
"But is waiting for a friendly Digimon to tell us what is giong on such a good choice? I mean the only friendly Digimon that ever seem to come out of the Digital World end up being some kid's partner, and they appear to be as clueless about this situation as we are." Kazu didn't like pointing this out, but someone had to and unfortunately Kenta wasn't here to be the downer of the situation. If they were worried about leaving the human world defenseless, then maybe they should split up into two groups with one going to investigate and the other staying to protect, but Kazu wasn't going to say this as he figured that he had done enough talking for the moment.
