Larry remained with a serious, thoughtful expression on his face ever since the insane girl's departure. Evil demon wolf ... wizard man, or was it lizardmon? What sounded like delusional nonsense, hallucination, to an average person, did not sound so delusional to him. It actually made sense. The digivice, the "monsters" and "demons", there were no better words to describe those who emerged from that world to wreak havoc here. Sheesh, the girl was lucky she made it out alive from that encounter she described. And this person was entrusted with keeping a digimon a secret?! No way Hypnos will tolerate this. He'd be ordered to ... relieve her of such responsibilities.
- Well, I officially never felt so ridiculous in my entire life. Back at England deranged people are kept in asylums, in Japan they are allowed to walk the streets. I love this country. - she said with both irritation and sarcasm. - Maybe I should have given her my "magic cloak" for her to carry to the magic laundry and get it washed... Oh well, good ideas always come too late. - he added, though it was more of a joke. He drank that cup he was given, and called the coffee shop keeper again. The old man approached, feeling his troubles might not have ended yet...
- Tell me, "guildmaster", since you seem to know that nutcase, what is her name? - he sounded strict.
- It's Mayumi ... Mayumi Kurokawa, sir. You're ... you're not going to do anything to her? It is not her fault she acts this way... - the old man sounded both worried and apologetic. Larry sighed.
- No, not really, no. I am going to call her parents though. If there is anyone to blame, it is probably them. - Larry shrugged. Oh yes I will, after her magical companion is dealt with... - he thought back then. It was decided. Standing up and turning to Jenny, the young man said:
- It is most unfortunate our little conversation was disturbed by that ... poor, sick child. I'd better go back to my place and get this stain washed off before it dries up. Excuse me, Jenny, but would you mind giving me your telephone number, so that we may perhaps continue it in a ... insane person-free environment? I'd be most grateful...
