Episode 3: No Dumping Please [Anima and one more]

Impmon grumbled as Suzie started crying. If all you can do is cry, get lost!" he thought, fighting the urge to shout it out loud. He'd have a much easier time if he wasn't stuck defending the kid. With his gorilla cannon gone now though, this battle might take a considerable time. Time he might not even have before he ended up being defeated by this pile of trash.

Suddenly a light engulfed Suzie, and from the light, her partner finally appeared. With a swipe of a card and a tornado attack, and the Raremon began it disintegrate, sending bits of sludge everywhere, that was apparently corrosive."Ai one more card would be nice!" He knew they had one last card left.

As the duo swiped their Wizardmon's spell card, Impmon ran to Suzie and Lopmon, pulling the bunny deva back closer to him and Suzie. As the card took affect, a barrier surrounded the three of them, blocking the shower of sludge from harming any of them. "You couldn't wait a second longer to show up?" he teased, a smirk on his expression.

Color: Gold
Effect: Creates barrier around the digimon modified by this card which can easily withstand up to a Champion Level Attack. The radius of this barrier is variable. This barrier protects all those inside from all outside attacks, but also prevents those on the inside from attacking as well. If attacked by an Ultimate Level Attack, the shield is shattered but it defends that one attack. If attacked by a Mega Level or higher, the shield is not strong enough to defend.

Suzie braced herself to get hit by the attack, but as she waited for the impact, nothing seemed to happen. She decided to take a peak to see what was going on and she noticed that Impmon had been holding on to both of them, and he had a shield which had provided a defense mechanism for the three of them. She couldn’t help but let out a small grin as she looked over at Lopmon and nodded, holding on to her Digivice, to give strength to Lopmon.

“Gee, thanks Impmon! You’re the best! Tee-Hee.”

As Lopmon was pulled back by Impmon and placed inside of the shield, she couldn’t help but think that she would have to thank Impmon for saving her butt. She quickly held on to herself as the shield defended them of the attack. She gave Impmon a small nod and quickly spoke. “Thank you Impmon. There were some minor setbacks, but Suzie needed me and I had to keep her safe.” Lopmon gave him a quick smile as she had jumped out of the shield. She had waited ‘till there was no more flying sludge and prepared to ultimately finish the monster off.

“Goodbye. Blazing Ice!”

Swiftly, Lopmon opened her mouth as wide as she could and prepared herself. In an instant, she began shooting icy crystalline bolts from her mouth, that had headed straight for Raremon, hopefully finishing him off.

Effect: This card may not be used while another card is still in effect on the modified Digimon. When this card is used, the modified Digimon gets the offensive power of an Ultimate-level Digimon. If an additional modify card is used during the Duration of this card, this card's effects are ended.

Raremon groaned in pain. His body had been split all over the beach, and what was left of his main part was much smaller then what had been there before. He was hurting, very much so, in a way that probably would be hard to explain to someone made of a solid mass, and gave one last cry of pain as the ice bolts came out upon him, before he, and the rest of the sludge that had made up his body, exploded into little bits of data which began to float away should the digimon decide to spare it.

And Raremon was gone. The tamers had been victorious. The only thing that showed something eventful had happened on the beach was the burnt remains of the base of that sign. The digital cloud began to lift as its occupant was no longer there, moonlight covering the beach once more.

With Wizardmon's spell active, there wasn't much Impmon could do, so he let Lopmon step out of the shield and finish the Raremon off with her ice attack. Raremon obviously didn't have much strength left, the digimon exploding into data from Lopmon's attack. Though there were those against absorbing a digimon's data, Impmon didn't have any qualms against doing so -- like he was going to let these kinds of digimon revive themselves so he has to defeat them all over again.

That in mind, he downloaded the digimon's data, feeling his strength increase greatly. With the Raremon gone, the digital field vanished, and the beach was back to normal. That was good. However, digimon trying to hunt down Calumon was a bit on the disturbing side. Calumon held great power, which would spell disaster if it fell into the wrong hands.

He turned to Lopmon curiously. "That Raremon said something about wanting to find some 'creampuff' -- Calumon no doubt. Does the sovereign know anything about it?" He asked, figuring that since she was one of the twelve devas serving the rulers of the digital world, she might know whats going on. For all he knew, Calumon was still in the digital world, and the sovereign were probably content to keep him there. So why would that Raremon come to the real world looking for him?

Lopmon silently watched as Impmon has begun to absorb the data. She never understood what Impmon would gain from absorbing the digimon data, but she was glad the digimon wouldn’t return soon. She quickly shaked off her body and couldn’t help but feel the power of the card Suzie had used, slowly depleting. Her bunny ears quickly lifting in the air when she saw Suzie, but Lopmon swiftly turned around as she had heard Impmon speaking.

"That Raremon said something about wanting to find some 'creampuff' -- Calumon no doubt. Does the sovereign know anything about it?"

Lopmon quickly gave Impmon a shrug. She had been in the digital world, but she had been stripped from her deva status, and had not really known much. She knew for a fact that they were chasing Calumon, but she didn’t know who or what was behind all of this. She decided it would be better to give Impmon a speech response, instead of just giving him a simple shrug.

“I’m not entirely sure, but I know that people have been hunting Calumon, for an unknown purpose. Could it be a new threat heading our way?”

Her eyes had shifted to Suzie. She had still retained her innocent look as well as posture. Lopmon had hoped that she had grown and gave Impmon a quick look. “What shall we do now?”

"I wonder where the cream puff is now anyways?" he wondered out loud. He was supposed to be in the digital world. But now it seemed quite possible the squirt may have squirmed his way back to this world. He guessed it wasn't entirely impossible, as he and Lopmon had come here as well. Didn't make him feel all too better about it though. But it was getting late out, and the battle against Raremon had tired him out. "Ehh. Call it a night for now, and tell Henry if you get the chance. I need to go now." Impmon then took off, heading back towards Mako and Ai's place.
